ZDX Advance replacing license plate bulb HARD!
ok I jacked around with this task longer then I want to admit 😡
I did my 2010 Tech and I don’t recall any problems but can’t remember how
i did it last May but it was easy , Well I sold it 3 weeks ago and now have 2010 ZDX Advance and trying
to change plate light bulb to led again. Well from inside behind the hatch door I removed panel and saw the
two license plate lights AND I thought it would be twist and pull it. Well it’s not !
there’s a small dark piece of plastic that sits up against bulb housing not alllowing me to turn and remove it .
I broke part of this small piece accidently trying to figure out how to get to the bulb.
After 3 hours I decided to ask dealer. Went there and check in guys didn’t figure out either
So if any one knows on ZDX how please let me know. Now did that area change from tech to advance ?
I think it’s impossible !

Thinking, it "shouldn't" be different than what the 2010 ZDX maintenance manual shows.
If you're still stuck post a picture, someone might have additional insight.
BTW: Those check in guys could have done you a solid and took a look a the service manual for you.
