Will adding front steel grille guard affect..?
On zdx advance give false reading to radar of cruise control braking system. The front stainless steel bar sit in front near radar cover... anyone know answer. .

The ACC/CMBS share the same radar for the system to work. I think it might depend on how much does the front guard covers the center of the grill (10% or up to 90%). At worst, the system would tell you there is a blockage to the system and it won't engage. Second worst the guard could effect the sweep area and near/far range with no warnings. This might result in more false positives for CMBS, reduction of true positive results of CMBS (radar absorbed or deflected by guard), maybe unpredictable behavior of the ACC, and a possible change in range/response for ACC/CMBS. The manual warns about rail road track could give false positives when you cross them with the radar active. Hard to tell what will happen with solid piece of metal several inches away can do to the radar beam going out and bouncing back?
Without pictures of how much is blocked, it hard to guess without testing in real life. You do have the option of turning off CMBS/ACC and use good ole' fashion cruise control if anything out the ordinary happens with the new guard. I like having ACC/CMBS on my MDX. I use ACC/CMBS more than a brush guard when traveling (I needed a guard the other day when I hit a couple to 3-4ft wide tumble weeds at 80 mph, no response from ACC/CMBS).

The ACC/CMBS is the same in the ZDX and MDX. I have minor problems with snow/slush built up on sensor, low metal bridges, and railroad tracks with the system. I say go for it, you can always remove the guard or disable the ACC/CMBS if you have any problems.
