Vossen Wheels Acura ZDX shoot
I'm not usually a huge fan of color matching acura grilles but in this case it works really well.
Check out these sweet photos:

The wheels are nice and the matching works.
The ZDX in MHO is kinda an odd duck car but
the wheels work with the look.
The grill could be factory silver and still match the silver streak of the wheels.
Note - always pay attention to a womens shoes
and always pay the same attention to a guys wheels...
but one will get you more than the other - lol.

I have looked into airbags but dont think I want to go that route. Actually im going to order a set of Crosstour H&R sport springs just to see how close they are. Looking at the factory diagram I may be able to make a custom fit. I will not justify for comfort though. If the ride sucks it will come off.
As far as the factory kit goes, Acura only makes a rear spoiler and LED running boards which I have already. I plan on ordering a front lip kit for the 2012 TL and see if I can get that to fit with some custom work as well. If Acura made a kit I would already have it

ahh good point.. doesn't make sense to me that they make one for the RDX but not one for the ZDX
Seriously give bags another chance... if you're looking for comfort and adjustability theres no substitution..
Not sure how custom of a setup you'll have to do though since I doubt there's a pre-made option out there for the ZDX.

I haven't ruled bags out yet. I think the biggest reason for me not doing this setup is not having any experience with bags kind of scares me a little. Im just clueless when it comes to this type of stuff. I know coilovers and springs that about it.

yeap you're like me.
I've been learning a lot about bags lately as a potential solution to my needs for my Mustang.

please reveal your wheels setup) any rubbing whatsoever?
I'm picking aftermarket rims and tires for the ZDX. R20 with 275/40 seems somewhat fat, but R22 with 295/30 seems too thin especially for our bumpy roads here, and for R21 there is little to no tires to select

I started a new thread here with all my info. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...0#post13186320
Depending how wide you go I would go with a 35 series for 22", that will give you more of a sidewall. A 295 seems a bit too wide but still will work if you are running a 10.5 and up.

Great idea with the special thread but i'm afraid to spam it until i have the wheels and pics ))
I will be getting DPE SP-C 16 or SP-C20 rims for sure, but can't figure out rim size and width I want for the tires I want. Deciding between 20x9 with 275/40 which is safe but not too nice, and 21x9,5 with 295/35 but you say it may rub and also diameter will be 3% less than the stock 255/50-19. My friend has such setup on his porsche cayenne and it looks perfect but 3% difference... Umm...
Now I'm confused with your setup for 22' rims with 285/35, they look perfect and flush for a SUV but I'm not sure if such wheels will survive a decent hole in the road.
Also with 10,5 width do the rims stick out of the tire so they would touch a curb before tires do? My concern is to avoid damage from curbs in narrow parking places so I'm worried about picking proper rim width without loosing good outlook.
Your advice is most welcome ))

DPE makes a great wheel! I looked into doing a 21" but due to high tire prices and availablity I was scared away. I think a 20" is a perfect fit for the ZDX. Why not a 20x9.5-20x10? I think a wider wheel looks best on this car. All depending on your offset you go with there should be good selection of tires to try too. Offset to me makes a big difference when choosing your wheels. Are you looking for a flush look or factory look? My setup is dead even with the outside fenders. They were sticking out about 3mm but I ended up machining 5mm off the backpad of the wheel to bring it in a bit. My tire and wheel line up pretty even, but if I hit the curb I would damage the lip on the wheel for sure. I just dont hit curbs Seems to me you like the beefy look, for more protection on the wheels. Most people do!
I can't say for sure without a test fit but I'm afraid that with 275 tire, 9.5 and especially 10 inches wide rim will not be even with the tire and will exposed to damage. 295/35-21 with 10 inches wide rim on Porsche I mentioned looks nearly perfect, 285 would be perfect for 9,5 I think but there's no 285/35-21 tires
Gotta decide between 295/35-21 x 10 (do you think it will rub the fenders?) and 285/35-22 х 9.5.
275/40-20 х 9 or 9.5.... dunno
Sorry for ranting, just seeking advice of a professional
P.S. Did you remove the reflector in "quad" exhaust tip or just smoked it with vinyl? Looks awesome

I think you will be perfectly fine if you run a 295/35/21 if the offset is correct. If you are running a 20x10 I would look into offsets between +38-45 and you should not rub. Also keep in mind each tire brand measures their tires differently. For example a Falken tire runs a little bit narrower compared to a Michelin the same size. So when picking your tire the overall appearance comes down to the tire brand too!
I just painted the rear reflector with Autozone paint in a can. Easy cheap mod that makes a big difference!

Im actually glad you are going with a 21" just so we can see the difference between 19"-22" on this vehicle. You picked a awesome wheel for sure, I like the SP-C16 much better then the SP-C20 you were looking at also. Should be a bitchin look for the X
What color are you going with and what color is your vehicle?

Its gonna be gloss black center with a chrome lip. I can't help loving this combo))
Vehicle is ionized bronze. Wife begs to trade it for a pearl white or atleast maroon while a friend of ours is desperately looking for a bronze ZDX Advance with umber interior, but even though those colos are nice too I am not ready to giv it up)
