Ventilated Seats

How well do the ventilated seats work in the Acura ZDX? I test drove a 2010 ZDX with Advance package today and I didn't feel the ventilated seats working at all (even though I heard the motor for it). Granted, it was 103 degrees Fahrenheit when I test drove the car. Does that have an effect.

Hasn't been too hot here in SE MA yet, but they seem to work ok to the point where I had to turn them off because I was too cold.

kind of a subjective question dont you think?
by the answers that you were given, it will vary according to who the person is and where on the map they are.

you, sir, will need to take an extended test drive and test them out to their full capacity. and then, and only then will you have your answer.

Yes, I think I should test the car again.

Also, does the ventilation work by air blowing through the holes in the seat, or does it suck air through in the opposite direction?

Since I can't edit my last post....

I'm 95% sure the air is blown "up" as I felt no airflow on my hand, and seemed to feel a light suction from the fan which has a filter that looks like a lunch lady's hairnet, and is mounted under the driver's right cheek area(didn't check the passenger seat)....hope that helps.

They suck the air from your behind and blow it out the back. Yes I know how that sounded.

i suppose there is simply a ventilator underneath the seat that just blows the air upwards
