I Finally got a Z!!!

after 4 years of wishing I could afford arguably the coolest car! I finally got one! Hope I'm not wasting a thread or anyone's time, just excited to be apart of this group! My Z is a 2010 tech, nothing special... other than I can't believe I have one.

I own a custom plasti-dip company going on 3 years now. After all the cars, wheels, emblems, etc that I've dipped I can honestly say that this car is pretty sweet strait from the factory!

My plan for the Z is to use it as a marketing tool. As much as I don't want to change its original look, this car grabs everyone's attention and will be useful. With that being said, if anyone has any suggestions or even something you would like to see (i.e. blacked out grill, emblems, trim, wheels, etc...) I would be happy to post pics and tips/instructions. I'm going to hold off on a full car dip for a while, mainly because I like the way it looks to much at the moment! Just let me know if I can be helpful, I've already learned a ton from this forum!!

Congrats.... welcome to the club. Agree with Sandro. Orange would be sweet. Used to have an orange 350Z, that thing was an attention grabber ALL DAY.

Yes! I agree 350 orange is pretty sick! I live in ohio and it's been a brutal winter. This is typically the slowest time of year because dip does not cure well under 40deg. I will post before and pics of any thing I end up changing. Today I am working on the exhaust tips and grill.

Hmm, I'm in Ohio as well. Close to Cleveland?
Does yours have noise coming from the top on days that dip below 20? Mine makes cracking noise, quite nasty

Columbus! Not to far!!

And YES, I seriously thought the glass roof broke in half. Really every morning that it's been super cold it makes ridiculous cracking noises...

Congrats! Just got mine this January after four years of lusting and could not be happier. Can't wait to see the minor adjustments you make to yours.

that look nice, i really like that color, i post up some pics of mine in a couple of week, i am having a few thing done to it. i am not going to paint my zdx grill any longer because after putting in the running board, i like the look of stock, however i am repaint my bumper to match the rest of the car though, do you notice the rear and front bumper don't match the rest of the color of the car, that what i am doing, it bother me when the car has 2 shades of white, it nice to see we are little more alive in here lol

My first thoughts when I first saw it was the window trim in black and the grille the same color to match the body would complete the look. You will just need to decide what color to to the silver trim around the fogs. I would do black. If you do the grille in black I think gloss black would look best and pop more.

Would dip stand up to the heat if you do the trim around the exhaust?

Was thinking about doing it on my white Z cause the front trim and beak are a glossed black.

I put on the rear spoiler and it looks great. Also added a K&N air filter and modified the exhaust. I think that adds about 10+ hp and a little better gas mileage. Sounds better too especially using the paddle shifting.
