Do You Think the Z Would've Survived A Second Generation...
if Acura made a few changes such as adding more rear headroom, cargo space, jewel eye led headlights, updated tech (dual screens like the new MDX, TLX, and RLX), updated body style, more horsepower, still offer one trim, and lower the price to around 42k? I think Acura dropped the ball on the Z too quickly. It was never meant to be a volume seller, but with a few minor changes I think a second generation could've sold reasonably.

I agree, all the Tier 1 brands are continuing, expanding, or bringing out new CUV coupes now. BMW keeps expanding their offerings, that Range Rover Evoque, the new MB one just being shown I think will be influential. It's like Acura was too early. More baby boomers now seem ready for a stylish CUV variant.
I'd love if the weight saving, simpler AWD, cylinder shutoff, earthdreams, hybrid options, and economical mpg savings could have been brought to the Z like it is now to the other Acuras.
and still no coupe, otherwise..

Minus the panoramic glass roof, futuristic styling, and the nice smooth interior of the Z. But I'm pretty sure the 2016 RDX will be an even bigger hit for Acura.
