Cool seats

On ZDX 2010 regarding the cool seats , I can hear the fans working but I don’t feel any coolness at all. I don’t feel any air coming out the seat or coolness but once I was looking at a 2013 ZDX and hit cool seat button and it was obvious ! I felt it !!
so is the 2013 cool seats just better or I’m wondering if my 2010 needs some work , surely it should come out more than what I’m experiencing.

Well, you shouldn't feel anything coming out, as the ZDX seat coolers use fans that suck air into the seats.

Eh, that initial reply doesn't make sense, it's ventilated seats, so it pulls air from under seat upward through seat.....so you should feel it. The "cool" is misrepresented. It's not air conditioned seats, more like seats with a fan. You do feel "cooler" in front of a blowing fan. Just like heated seats aren't blowingblowing heated air, more like a coiled heating blanket effect.
My 2012 I don't feel nada.....and I test drove another 2019 car and the ventilated seats were clear and obvious.
Ive read about these alot around the internet here what I conclude.....
1. Even brand new the ventilated seat comments for owners were remarking it was super subtle and 1st Gen Acura ventilated seats were "weak" and not like other manufacturers.
2. I've noticed that the "holes" in seat cushion are displaced from the leather to the foam and butt smoosh have effect as my driver side feel nada and passenger side....like barely feel something....makes sense as most of the time driver side gets way more wear and tear. The foam isn't as pliable.
So, I think the only way to fix is somehow painstakingly widen those seat vent holes....a blunt needle would theoretically work. Push in, wiggle around. ....I'll report back.
