The all new 2020 ZDX if there was one

So your at the 2019 NAIAS as you make your way over to the Acura stage you notice a new model that is on the platform. The host tells the crowd before the cover comes off this the return of the ZDX. How will the model look. Will it be a modern take on the first generation ZDX, or something totally new and different ?

I cannot find it right now; however, someone Photoshopped a ZDX in one of the ZDX threads adding subtle changes and lengthened it, somewhat resembling a Jaguar F-Type as I remember. That would be a look I could wrap some $$$ around provided performance and technology boxes were checked too.

For me I think if they brought it back it would be totally new keeping in line with Acura current design language, but yet having design cues from the last ZDX model. I think it would be a little bigger then the current RDX.

Yeah someone was really lazy that looks just like current generation ZDX, but with just a face lift. I think some design cues from the last generation ZDX should be in the design, but the design should be all new. I thought maybe it should be slot between the RDX and MDX, but now I am thinking maybe slot under the RDX. Should it be a compact, or a midsize.

I still miss my ‘94 Integra (and it’s better gas mileage). A lighter ZDX (scaled down by 25%) with fewer bells & whistles (but same 300hp V6 motor) was what I was looking for after the Integra died.

I like the look of the CDX I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s make to the North American market in some form. Acura cross over line up could go like this CDX-subcompact,RDX-compact,two mid size SUV the traditional style and a fastback (ZDX) type model. I think a new ZDX would sale well in today’s market, if it’s market at the right group of people. First time cross over SUV buyers. The ZDX was my first crossover SUV type vehicle I have ever own.

I just love how the ZDX Looks and I hope it would still resemble current ZDX. Nothing in Acura new line up just doesn’t do it for me. I pictured it with a beefier lower front in and with a Turbo and deeper sound exhaust and add heads up display

More space inside would be nice. I had a RDX for a week and didn’t wanted to give it back on count of the leg room I had compare to my ZDX, but there is nothing else like it in the line up. The turbo from the RDX would be good as the base engine and the hybrid V-6 from the RLX as an option.
