Who is all Debadged here?
Hey,
So I was wondering who is debadged. If you don't know what that is, it means you took off one, or all of the badges on the rear of the car.
At first I just took off the "Acura" word on the top left. Then I took off my RSX-Type S and it looks 10x better. Also helps, since some base cars may try to mess with you. Not knowing your a type-s haha.
Way cleaner look, I have a 06' RSX. Color is JGM.

Acura Badge in Rear
Can the Acura badge in the center of the rear hatch be removed without exposing a locating hole or holes?
By the way, I'm new to this forum; just bought my RSX-S a week ago. Silver/black, 2006, about 54K miles.

What method did you use to take off your badges. I have a black 06 rsx t-S. I was thinking about de-badging, but not sure how to go about it...is it glue? heat gun? Thanks

Go buy some "Waxed" floss, goo-gone, and just grab a hair dryer or something from the house. If you have a heat gun thats fine, just dont turn it up very hot at all.
So what you do is just heat up one side of the badge, and start flossing away, I would heat it up for 10-15 seconds, floss it for about 10 seconds and keep doing that. Takes around 3-5 minutes each badge.
Once its off either use your fingernail or a credit card (Cant scratch), and just keep working at it. Use the heat gun or dryer for that part too.
It will take a while to get all the glue off, but after you get the dense stuff off use goo gone and the credit card.
Also its normal to see a shadow after from the letters, after a week or two and a few car washed they will be completely gone.
Good luck!

I wish my picture would show up...anyway, I took off every single badge and used Night Shade to go over the "RSX" and used the RSX emblem to plug the holes where the Acrua emblem was.

Not starting a new thread... I have the exact opposite question. I'm looking at a TL Type-S that has been debadged that I'd want to re-badge if I bought it. Is that possible with the dealership? How much are we talking here?

Yes, very possible, the badges are just held on with double sided tape
