shifter cables RSX-S
I'm new here, searched but couldnt find an answer...
What cables are interchangeable between the RSX & Honda's? Or where can I get good cables at a decent price/what brand.... Don't want to spend $400 on Acura OEM nor waste $200 on ebay junk... Please help

My shifter was very loose and the dealer told me the cables needed to be replaced. I removed the shifter cover and found that the bushings where the cable attached to the shifter had failed. There are no replacements for these as they are part of the cables I found some sleeves in a bin of odd parts I had, and was able to repair it. This was about 5 years ago and now it is loose again.
My plan is to measure the diameters of the shifter pins and cable ends and see if I can find some nylon tube stock that matches or is close. If I can find a nylon tube that will fit snug in the cable ends, I figure I can drill it out to match the shifter pins, then cut it to the correct width.

I have already zip tied both ends of my cables on tranny side bc those sleeves broke.... Drive like that for almost a year lol. But now my cables are so stretched that soon as car warms it won't go into or out of gear without the help of someone moving the levers on tranny...
I need new cables, just wanting advice on where to get some good cables at a decent price.

Fortunately, mine have not deteriorated to that point.
The online OEM parts stores have them for around $300. I don't think you can find new OEM for less.
