Rotor Replacement
My 2005 RSX is at the dealership to get new struts for the rear hatch (I hate the dealership, but only they had the part). While there I asked for a quick lookover since I'm selling it in the spring. Didn't expect much, since I put a lot of work into it the past year (spark plugs, filters, fluids, transmission service, etc).
They said I need new brakes and rotors and the rotors are way too far gone. Problem is, I had my rotors replaced about 20k miles ago (little over 2 years ago) when I noticed squealing noises. Anyways, I know the brakes are probably due for a replacement, but the rotors?? I told them no thanks, I want to look at it myself.
So how do I know if they DO need replacing or if the dealership is yanking my chain? What should I look for/check?

The rear hatch struts are stocked at most autp parts stores. "Strong Arm" is one brand that I can think of. They are easy to replace, but be sure to prop up the hatch with something while replacing them.
