OG Ricer noob RSX Q, need expert advice

I just scooped up a 2003 RSX-S and would like to ask you guys who have more experience about JDM cars.

I want to know what is your best recommendation for a fitting intake manifold and exhaust. Please provide brand and series, looking for a better performance daily drive.

The best upgrade I ever did to my Type-S was to install a cold-air intake and the Hondata ECU reflash. Much more power through the mid-range RPMs and much more fun to drive. The reflash will provide greater benefit with an upgraded exhaust, but I never installed one. I am partial to the Comptech Engineering Ice Box CAI, but it is difficult to find even a used one these days. No matter what intake and exhaust you end up with, the ECU reflash will make the most of them.

KOKOLOCO: I deleted your thread in the New Member Introductions forum since you already have this thread, and also because it says this at the top of that forum " Welcome! Please introduce yourselves here, but ask for help in the Technical Forums "

Depends on your budget... I'd recommend at minimum basic bolt ons (intake/header/exhaust). Usually this would require an ECU reflash to maximize the benefits of these mods.

But, if you do go into more mods, if highly recommend getting hondata kpro or ktuner. Options for mods are limitless once you have kpro or ktuner because you can retune accordingly to your modifications.

I was naturally aspirated for 6+ years and wish I had kpro before. I got kpro 6 months before boosting and loading one of the base tunes really opened up the RSX. I'm on my "4th" build with my RSX and it wouldn't have been possible without kpro.
