replaced my front, sensor 1 with OEM sensor. Engine light stayed on and I had it turned off my my Honda dealer.

It came back on 2 minutes later.

Some things I have noticed in the last 4 weeks

1. A slight rich smell in exhaust.

2. Twice while accelerating there was a slight skip, stutter, and the tack went up and down 4-500 RPM and this only lasted a couple seconds.

I am changing the oil and spark pligs in the next few days. I bought the car last year and THIS HAS NOT been done yet.

Next step fuel filter?

I strongly suspect your car doesn't have a fuel filter; most cars these days do not.

thanks

Maybe the plug change will cure it

It's an '03 base model btw

Yiu know of any other issue that may produce a "bank 1 sensor 1" readout?

Ahhh, that's a different story...

Back in 2003 it was about 50/50 regarding cars which had filters and which did not (I don't know whether the 2003 RSX had it or not). That said, I seriously doubt a fuel filter could cause the issue you're having.
