2004 Rsx Type S

I'm a proud of a 2004 Rsx Type S. I'm selling my 07 TL and going to be driving this. It needs a new clutch. I was wondering which clutch should I go with. A oem replacement or should get a stage 1 clutch with a lighten flywheel. The car has a dc sports short ram intake and a catback exhaust. Thanks for your help

Sweet man! I also own a 04 RSX Type S. I love the car. I recently replaced my clutch with a Exedy replacement OEM clutch, it's nice but nothing special just had to be done after it burned out

Exedy or competition clutch are pretty good for the RSX. I went with the competition clutch 1.5 paired with the ACT streetlite flywheel. It's a good combo for daily driving and perfect if you just plan to stay with bolt on mods. I also replaced the clutch master cylinder with the Omni one. Replaced stock shifter with the Buddy Club short shifter and aluminum bushings made the RSX feel like a go cart haha. Also you should either go with the Injen CIA or AEM V2 intake and think about getting a race header.

don't get a short ram intake.

unless you are tracking your car, don't bother with anything over a 1.5 stage clutch

RSX Type S Automatic

Can anyone tell me if the RSX Type S was ever available with an automatic transmission?

The Type-S only came with the 6-speed manual transmission.

The base version was available with either an automatic or 5-speed manual transmission.
