PHUCK YESSSSSS!!!! Tomorrow I FINALLY get my PHUCKIN EXHAUST!!! YESSSSSS!!!!! Yeah it's free but, it took all of what... 5-6 MONTHS to get.... sheesh. Can't complain too much I guess... And I just got the Skunk2 header added, and I had the Injen cold air on there as well. I can't WAIT! YES - I/H/E finally! Thats gonna be it for now motor/powerwise. Next step would be Forced Induction, and right now I just don't need it. I'm gonna call the visor dude today, I kinda hate calling him all the time, it's stalkerish or something, haha

PHUCCK YESSS - prototype fitment going down tomorrow - I WILL 100% TAKE PICTURES (as long as the dude don't trip about it)! I don't see why he would be against it. So much win this week, AWWWW YEA! I'm in a good mood now, I might go down and have my bubble shift knob installed. I bought one with a custom light up LED ring. You have to wire it to a custom switch tho - aww yeah....

Damn one of my hookups was wanting to charge me $150 for for the bubble shift knob LED install, it would be a legit custom install with switch but DAMN. Alright I just got the DC Sports catback installed - AWWW YEAHHH..... I'll get pics in a while, I'm just not that into pics, and the sun is really harsh right now so just hang on folks. It is a BEAST THO... haha. Mostly I think it's the header, but this shit is a DEEEEP rumble... nicceee

catback with a turndown tip, a.k.a. dolphin tip, a.k.a. j-tip.Sun is still very harsh, way too much glare, no shade, gimme a sec and I'll show you guys. Test fit for windows, partial fail/ partial win. They line up VERY well, however, one was possibly a little crooked (passenger/ front). Can't complete the full test fit until Thursday or Friday, visor guy was kind of busy today. He originally had an appointment with me at 2, then pushed it to 4. Then he had to be somewhere at 5. So, basically because I have my door pillars, the test fit was a fail... I need to remove my chrome door pillars so that he can glue them on properly to check the fitment glued on. The prototypes did not have chrome lining, they extend from just in front of the side view mirrors to about the middle of the back tiny window past the little door pillar. Didn't take pics because they weren't glued on. Hes gonna glue them on, then just take right off, after he annotates any fit ment issues or corrections. SO basically unless you are willing to cut or alter them to work with the visors, don't get door pillars BEFORE you get these. Or get the vinyl stuff, fuck it. I was gonna take them off then and there, but he only had a hairdryer, and no extension cord. I need a heatgun, or at least a whole lotta tooth-floss and a whole lotta time... He was pinched for time tho.... So I'm trying again on Thursday, possibly Friday if he's busy. And friday I'm gone to Drill duty so I'm definitely trying to get this done soon.

These are the skunk2 alpha header pics. I was told that after some time it will "carmelize".

I'm pretty sure my setup is running rich right now, I think I added at least 25 hp (NOT WHP) in the last few days, (Header and exhaust) and I haven't driven enough for it to catch up yet.... TIME FOR A TUNE when I first go it back from DC they were like "Dude thats definitely louder then we designed it... And I think I smell gas it's burning so hard and rich..." hahaha I smelled it too It went down a little. It's gotta adjust... then some hondata.... awwww yeahhhh...

Oh also I may be getting low finally. I may be the test car for some springs and rear camber arms. Pretty aggressive drop - 2.25 inches front and 2 inches in the back. Tein and H&R are only 1.5 inches, Eibach 1.2. Anybody think that would blow out the struts? Kinda sketchy on it...

If you can get a shot of the full rear of the car and a side profile that would be great.

So I have test fitment for the the prototypes set up again for next tuesday at 11am. It sucks that my visor dude has had the prototype on hand for at almost a month, but due to Marine Corps duty, I couldn't come through. UNRELATED - Also, I went to a few random car meets, and I got some decent leads on cheap (price, not quality) air bag suspension setups. It would run around $2,500 - $3,000 installed. (cheap compared to 5 g's) Complete with Accuair management. I was gonna do springs, and camber arms, but I think Skunk2 discontinued their 2012 and up Civic SI springs? They had the most aggressive drop. On their website it was listed as 2inch front, and 2.25 rear. Not there anymore, and the camber arms are on backorder? Then I had a hookup for the buddy club racing spec coils, $1500 installed ($1600 retail). But then I was like, wait, why not spend like a grand more and just get bags? So my next mods (for now) are gonna be the rest of the OEM lip kit (side skirts and rear) , STI lip, and wheel spacers. If I'm not low, I should at least get flush.

*PROTOTYPE* test fitment complete. I had to remove my chrome door pillars. OH, the sacrifices I make for you guys... Fit great, except for one back window piece on one side. No worries tho. Measurements were taken, pics taken, so the factory can adjust the piece. There will be one more test fit round, but turn around on this piece should be faster. I was ALMOST allowed to keep this prototype set, however, they didn't want me rollin' around making the company look bad with a bad fit back door visor. I also spoke to him about selling it to us Acuraziners for a decent price, he said he would hook it up with an online coupon code, no group buy. He's now able to sell them online. So I was pretty happy with that.

Had to resize pics. So here goes. Keep in mind final visors will have chrome lining to adhere to OEM type spec. Also my car was dirty as hell, haha. I'm widening out my driveway. Even tho I parked far away, my car still got dusty. Then i parked by a sprinkler. so, yeah... I also threw in a sideview of my exhaust tip that USDMJon asked for.

The middle pic shows the back one that was just a bit off. The visor guy was like "WTF? That looks ghetto!" i was kinda happy he was so harsh on the fitment, cuz that means he takes the fitment pretty serious, and that's cool with me.

also the production visors will have the brand logo on them. But if you don't like it, you can peel it off and it'll just leave a little square where the logo was.

Awesome. I will definitely buy a set. Will he be applying chrome to the top edge? Id like that. Majority of ILXs have the chrome so that would make sense.

Thanks for pushing the gorilla tactics on the visor market. It paid off.

In this hot heat? Hell yeah man! Hydration is continuous, ask any Marine. Here's a pic of the cup holders on the passenger side at night. Im trying to do chrome vinyl wrap on the door pillars now, still liked the look of my chrome door pillars. But eventually I'll take off the side chrome door lining ones and add in the OEM civic or TL or RLX ones, they come come color matched. I didn't think of that before. (UNRELATED) Also my bad folks. If I wasn't busy doing my Marine thing, maybe we would be closer to having these in our hands. Got my MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts) brown belt, gonna go for black soon. Was gonna go to the instructor course, but just getting my brown i Effed up my shoulder pretty bad, injury is pretty common on the black belt course, didn't want to risk it if I wasn't feeling solid about it. Have more gruesome pics, but those involve borderline gay porn since they're pics of my huge leg bruises.

Just a VIP thing. I think Ill be biting on a set of curtains soon. I really just want the rails and get some better material curtains made.

I'll also be hitting up the dude with the CL since his buddy makes custom tables

If you're just going to use the rails, you could check ebay maybe for the knockoffs. Then I would recommend the heat reduction curtains they sell at walmart, you could get one of those for like 10 bucks. Then just get some seamstress to cut and sew it to size and BAM! I have the curtains for looks and function, if you leave them open when you park the car it reduces the heat coming in to the car. And if you use the heat reduction material even more so. Eventually mine will fade, thats what I'll do then.

Tomorrow morning I'll try to get the S2K markers on and the shift knob, was too late and dark tonight when the sidemarker guy was gonna do it. Also maybe the chrome wrap on the door pillars? Trying to finish the little stuff so i only have the expensive stuff left for the car. Next on my list is Im buying 2 JDM rear tables that hang on the headrest for the rear passengers to use - then interior is done for me. Buying wheel spacers soon. Whenever Skunk2's springs and camber kit are back in stock I'll go with those, and throw springs, camber kit, and spacers on. Also any and all suspension bars. Then skirts / rear lip. Then Hondata. Then wheels. Then forced induction, then bags. So the expensive stuff will take a few years maybe. Plan on keeping the car at least 10 years, unless my life drastically changes. Also random small stuff that pops up.

I'd also recommend people to get into the VIP tables, they are really convenient and if you get them custom made, you can get them custom for YOU - so like a vape holder or two, or maybe LEDS (way more powerful then what I got), cell phone holders, air freshener holders, etc. Also makes the car interior pop a lot more. Can't wait to see some other ILX's with these tables. If you shop around, you could get them for as "cheap" as $200 bucks, up to $350, just depends how custom. I have a couple of connects if anyone wants them.

@USDMJon - yes production model will have chrome lining to try to match OEM spec/look. I know some people are going with the blackout look, guess they'll have to vinyl wrap it or paint it. Would look good carbon wrapped too if people are going for that look maybe. OR CHROME WRAP - DO IT!

Just ordered an NRG CHROME (AWWWW FUCK YEA) rear tow hook and 2 pairs of black anodized 25mm H&R wheel spacers. Suspension components are my next project on the car, as well as Hondata. Picking up my Junction Produce steering wheel cover this weekend. Took over 6 months to get from Japan. Interior is more or less done for me. Also want to buy the side skirts soon, to get puddle lights, but the shop I want to get the puddle lights from has them backordered... this is how the car sits for now. I wanna try to get it as close to "done" as I can before I get the window visors. Gonna drop it soon - Still willing to try Skunk2's aggressive 2.5 spring drop, along with rear camber kit/arms. Kinda sketchy tho, may go in a different direction... May just get H&R springs for continuity...

No, Junction Produce only makes the tables for certain cars. I have an assortment of tables arranged to fit together from 3 different JDM brands. Idid add little JP accessories to keep the them going tho. If you want a table, there are a wide variety. If you are on a budget, no joke, Ebay can hook you up with some decent mini tables. If you want something nicer, then you will have to go to a shop that makes them custom. That will cost you anywhere from $200 -350 bucks for one big table. I probably spent... $350ish on 4 mini tables with LED, 1 without, and one double drink holder table with nice bright LEDS, but then the switch broke. Mine cost that much due to import fees and S&H, and because I was specifically looking for mini tables with blue LED's. If it was available here and now, I probably could have saved at least a $100 bucks. And if you go Ebay and no LED's, you could probably build a similar set to mine (driver side door, passenger air vents, and passenger door all have tables) from off brand tables, at about...$150-200. So, just depends what you want. Check out Autofashion USA for authentic Japanese Carmate mini tables. $20 bucks, thats cheaper then Ebay knockoffs at $25.

Today I begin suspension mods. Following parts purchased, and soon to be installed:FKX Racing X-brace, rear lower tie bar, front lower tie bar, trunk brace, and JDM OEM Civic Type R 20mm rear sway bar with upgraded polyurethane bushings. I got a good price on the sway bar, I did not feel like it was worth the extra cash to get the 24mm or even the 22mm in my case. I would have paid double for 2mm more, or possibly triple for 4mm more because with the 24mm you need to upgrade endlinks as well. I also read a lot of forums on it, and people with the Civics are loving this 20mm bar, and also the 21mm JDM OEM bar. They are different size depending on model year. The 21mm was harder to find, and when I did, it was again, double what I paid for the 20mm bar. So 20mm it is. I mean people were initially even raving about the Eibach rear sway at 19mm - but again double the price, and 1mm smaller. Would recommend this 20mm bar, especially since now you could just order the 2014 USDM OEM 20mm bar from any random Honda parts/dealer. OEM quality and reliability, and then just order Polyurethane bushings. UNLESS you can get the hookup on the 21mm or bigger bars. Phone acting up, will post pics in a sec

Alright so im still awake like a methhead... fast food poisoning... good tho, maybe I'll learn my lesson and stay away like I normally try to.... Anyway - today i added the rear sway bar (and poly bushings), both F&R lower tie bars, and X brace. I went to Ballade Motorsports (or Ballade Sports, if you're trying to google them). They came recommended, and on their Yelp reviews they are 5 star average. Actually, one SI coupe on Yelp has pics of the car on the rack and a blue X-brace and JDM rear sway installed. So I figured fuck it, the guys done it to 2 or 3 cars. Right now I can feel a difference, but it is nothing amazing yet. What I really noticed was "economy in motion" coming OUT of turns. My speed did not drop off as much, the car remained a little more planted and stable and did feel tighter. The steering wheel had much less play (zero, but I'm not an expert.)To get the full final effect I am going for, I am still missing 3 vital things -(1) Wheel spacers, (2) lowering springs and (3) WAY better tires ( gonna run the stocks out first) I still need to get the wheel spacers in from UPS (possibly coming Thursday, if not, Friday for sure). I also need to make a final decision on springs.
