I have the Buddy Club Downpipe, and this is the first I've heard about rattles... BUT, I may have that issue.. something under the car is rattling, but I'm guessing/ hoping its actually like a loose heatshield or something...next oil change I will ask my guy to take a look when its on the rack up in the air... i looked underneath and can't see anything... I previously had the Skunk2 Downpipe with no rattles, but I also had an X brace underneath it. The Buddy Club downpipe and the x brace don't fit together tho... I trust my guy, BUT, I may try and get a different set of eyes on this issue when i do some other mods... Maybe they can get it to fit...

The Skunk2 and the Buddy club are extremely similar, but the exhaust hangers are welded on in different positions... And they are both designed for Civic Si's, so fitment may never be exactly perfect... They are "the same" underneath, but it is a different car at the end of the day.....

Another quick update. In my previous car, RSX-S I had the JDM Type-R floor mats. I wanted a similar look so I ordered a set of custom floor mats. Took over a month to get here but they finally arrived.

Due to copyright issues I wasn't able to have the Acura logo or name imprinted on the mats. Oddly enough, they wouldn't allow me to print "ILX" on it either...but either way, I'm happy with the purchase. Fitment is perfect and the quality is very good.

Took some pictures with my friend's bagged Audi over the past weekend. Looking at brake pad / rotor upgrade soon. Anyone ever upgraded their rotors or pads yet on the ILX? I used to have EBC green stuff brake pads on my RSX but the brake dust it left was horrible.

And for the Throwback Thursday. My previous Honda/Acuras.

Cheers to almost the weekend.

Looks clean bro. I'm lovin the All Red tails on the 2013 - 2015. I wanna get a Laminex All Red Kit for my 2016.

Tired of my Tail Lights looking like a Mazda 3.

So, I stopped by the Acura dealership last week. Ended up trading the ILX in, de-modded it. No more stick shift :-(. I'll miss the nice throttle response, decent handling, and even the loud and harsh ride.

Picked up one of these. 17' Acura TLX V6.

It handles pretty poorly but its very quiet and comfortable. Going to put the Advans on it soon and probably do some bolt ons and call it a day. Happy modding.

Did you go with FWD or SH-AWD?

Im sure the wheels differentiate the models (or do they?), but I don't look at TLXs enough to care which is which.

Thanks for the comments. Its a nice car, just different coming from the cars I've had before. Thanks for the heads up on the parts, def won't be leaving is stock long. I was just looking for something more comfortable and quiet ride since my commute for work is going from 5 minutes to 50 minutes lol.

I got the FWD version, they wanted so much more for the AWD version.

On the ILX? I had someone vinyl the section of the rear bumper to create that look. I'm sure you could the bumper off and use glossy dip too and create the same look.
