Service B1 for my ILX

Hello, I have a 2016 ILX with 14000km (8600 miles) and service B1 notification came on recently. I checked what they do for B1 and I am not really sure if I even need all these when my mileage is low. Do I really have to pay $280 for service B1 package? (I live in Canada btw)

PS. I bought the car used at Acura dealership when the car was at 7300km (4500 miles) so engine oil was at 100% and service A was already done.

Wow thats an expensive oil change lol. Most of the things on that list are just inspections followed by an oil change and tire rotation. Something you can very well do yourself if you like working on your car.

You don't really need all those inspections. The car is still under warranty anyway. Dealer definitely overcharges for tire rotation.

LPT: take your ILX to a Honda dealer - same service and covered by warranty and usually 20%-30% cheaper.

i used to take my car to Markham Acura > Moved over to Richmond Hill Honda... they service my car no problem.. just make sure you tell them NO CAR WASH. LOL

Dealer wanted around that for B12. I bought and replaced the filters ~$25 and 10minutes time, rotated my own tires, and dealer changed the oil for $40 (w/coupon).

Hell no thats a ripp. A BIG rip. Go to 3-4 different honda/acura dealers websites near you, sign up on the e-mail/ mailing list and use the coupons they send you IF you insist on the dealer. if not, then go to a private mechanic. And stay aware of what all the codes mean and just do what it says to do. if they say something needs to be done that is suppose to be by the Maintenance minder, get a second and even a third opinion. Don't TELL the second opinion about the first opinion tho.
