My poor Acura ILX Hybrid

My poor Acura ILX Hybrid
A few days ago I got into an accident. The car behind me used me as his personal breaks. Airbag popped out. Awful sight as you will see in the pictures. Since I don't know a thing about repairs I would like to know ( from someone with the knowledge ) if this is something that the insurance company will want to repair or just say is total loss. Please let me know. I loved my Acura hybrid and only had it for 2 months however there is something about repairs that I don't trust and I feel that even if they repair the whole thing...in the future it will start bringing problems.
What do you think?

Ive heard most cases if the air bag deploys the car is totaled. I guess that would be better if you dont want repairs.

Pictures are not showing up for me but airbag deployment doesn't matter. It's all about the cost to fix vs payout/replace. The front drivers airbag for my ILX was ~800, which isn't that much..
Once I'm able to see the pictures, I'll give my opinion based on my current experience with my ILX accident.

I cant see the pics here at work , but usually when people talk about Airbags deploying and the car being totalled its due to the cost of the airbags and dash and windows that usually need to be replaced after the deployment. The cost of a new ILX is too high above those repairs to total out the car.
it depends on your ins carrier at what point they consider it totalled. Some go buy if the damage exceeds 55% of the value of the vehicle but that is not a hard number ins companies and even policies may have a different percentage when the would consider the vehicle a total loss. Another thing is if the vehicle simply cant be brought back to acceptable driving condition such as having frame damage.
Just going to have to wait till the adjuster checks it out and see what he or she says. most the time they are spot on, but sometimes the car goes to the shop and they find more damage and it gets totalled after that.
Good Luck and glad your at least ok
