So, we traded our '05 TSX 6MT w/220k in on a '12 Sportwagen TDI 6MT a few years ago and still miss it daily. Turns out ours is one of the emissions-scandal TDIs, and yesterday we got our official buyout offer/date to sell the car back to VW. It's a couple months out, but guaranteed.
24hrs later, we now own a '14 ILX 6MT. It was a factory service loaner sidelined for nearly 9mos waiting on airbag recall parts, and has only 4500mi (no, there is no missing 0 there). Better yet, the out the door price was just $500 more than we will get from VW! The TDI is paid for and has 90k on it. Even trade? Uhhh, lemme think about that...
It's the wife's car, but I'll drive it plenty. We're both car geeks (she won't drive an automatic!) and it will join a '99 Miata Sport and a '12 Outback 3.6R in our stable. She absolutely loved the 1st gen TSX and we're expecting this one to be even better.
