They look nice. Are you allowed to park cars other than white on that street.

Congrats on first set of aftermarket rims on the ILX on this forum...can you list the specs of the wheels and tires. The fitment looks flush, it's got potential, but an inch drop would really set them off.

You're almost there! I would:

- Debadge the ILX lettering on the back
- Get the aero kit
- Change the lugnuts to chrome
- Drop the car an 1.5" or more
- Tint the windows

You can try just getting the eibach springs and seeing if that drop works. If you don't like the way it looks, you can always relist them on ebay -- they'll sell fast.

Thank you, and sure the wheel specs are 17x9 +45 offset tires are 205/55R17. my opinions on those are the tires are too big and i'd go with 45's like the stocks. but im planning on slamming it, soo... my opinion may vary with yours.

half that stuff is suppose to be in my sig lol . but no, i dont want to deal with the hastle of changing top hats and all that bs. i did it when installed some teins on my buddy's rsx-s.... WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE; i then decided to buy full coils with tophats only lol. im currently debating inbetween D2 racing and meganracing. Windows will be getting tinted this weekend. i dont really think i want to debadge it.. it'll look more like that ford or kia thing thats been driving around on the freeway. as the lugnuts being chrome, they kinda looked tacky because the valvestem and enkei stickers are red. then the aero kit, im not a fan of anything on my trunk so a goood friend of my boss that works at acura will be getting me the OEM front/rear lips and OEM sideskirts for 1086 dollars out the door.

My only thought would be that the wheels would look a little larger if the spokes went right to the edge of the rim.

i think its just the tires that make the rim look small, our stock 17's come with 45R but these wheels are wrapped in 55's. plus if the spokes went all the way to the rim... id have no lip ):

I see what you are saying but I still think a style like O.Z. Alleggerita HLT in gold would look larger. If you go to Tirerack you can see what yours and the OZ look like on your white ILX and you will see what I mean. Just my thoughts, yours still look good.

So, if you scout the other honda forums, you'll see that people are running coils on the 9th gen si without a problem. This car shares a lot of the same components with that car so I think it may be worthwhile to get the coils. I don't think you'll have problems. Personally, I'd get the Teins over the Megans because I haven't seem many people put lots of miles on them without hitting an issue or two down the road. Teins tend to be a different story...plus they're not much more.

yeah, but from the people i heard talking about teins. There garbage. Im hearing this from peoplr that track and dd there cars. Performance wise i wouldnt care since its guna be on my dd, but id want better ride quality for being so close to the ground. For the height i want to be at, id want dampers and the price im paying for shiney green coils arnt really worth the quality thry give. Ive scouted forum after forum from dc5 to tsx and people give quite good reviews about both. I might just end up getting the d2's. 600 dollars more for the higher end teins arnt worth it imo.

@Spdandpwr not only does the d2 have more adjustablr levels of dampening, its also cnc'd and sounds a lot more durable then the teins.

Yea, I was saying the Teins are better than the Megans. I've heard good things about the D2 and BCs (surprisingly).

i think megans are decent. hopefully there better then before, i use to have megan racing coilover sleeves on my 99 Si and they wouldnt lock... so overtime my si would just get lower and lower
but i think im swaying towards the D2's. buddy of mine had those on his TL-s since 09 and they still ride as good as when he pulled them out the box .
