Acura has unveiled a restored Legend owned by Ludacris at the 2015 SEMA Show.
Surprisingly the restored Acura Legend looks fairly tame and didn’t get a heavy dosage of the Fast and Furious treatment. Instead, Acura stuck to bringing the 1993 Legend back to its original form sporting a custom Warm Cashmere with Ice Pearl paint scheme. Larger 18-inch Rays wheels paired to Bridgestone Potenza rubber in a 215/40/18 size can be found on all four corners while braking performance has been upgraded with six-piston front calipers and four-piston rears. Inside, the Japanese automaker installed a Pioneer AVIC 8/ONEX sound system along with Apple CarPlay. H&R springs contributed to the project by lowering the Legend by two inches while Eibach outfitted the sedan with a camber kit to keep those Bridgestone tires in check. To ensure the Legend is comfortable to drive for years to come, Acura also did some frame, body and chassis work.
Along with the restored Legend, Acura also brought a pair of ILX sedans and the new 2017 NSX to Las Vegas. The headline vehicle was built by Galpin Auto Sports boasting custom body work including a new front bumper with accent front splitter, custom rear diffuser with JDM Fog Light, a custom exhaust exit and a rear spoiler. A brilliant Sunburst Yellow paint is contrasted by Shark Gray accents using a three-stage candy paint process. Suspension modifications include RS-R Sports*i coilovers while the rear features a Borla exhaust system with custom dual tips. The gold and gray color scheme continues inside the cabin with gold contrast stitching throughout the Katzkin perforated Barracuda leather inserts.
The other 2016 Acura ILX is packed with an Acura Genuine Accessory Package featuring an aero kit, 18-inch diamond-cut wheels, decklid spoiler, all-season floor mats, illuminated door sill trim, chrome door trim, LED fog lights, rear bumper applique and remote engine starter. The vehicle is finished in Slate Silver Metallic and customers can order any of the accessories through their Acura dealers.

my dad inlaw has a 1995 legend with 260,000 miles on it. rebuilt the engine twice. he had that thing since before i first meet him 9 years ago. this guy just wont let that legend go. looks like luda is in the same boat, except his is restored.

That Legend is kinda rare nowadays... To be honest, at first glance it looks like a Honda Accord or a Prelude, depending on the angle. I can tell the paint job is really nice, but again reminds me of an old Accord. Maybe cuz i see a ton of old beat up ones in that color in California. They go forever, but people stop taking care of the appearance since they are old.
The Rays wheels? Great brand, decent looks, but at first glance I just thought they were some off brand Konig's or something. Not that Luda cares, but these wheels looks wise, aren't exactly worth whatever they were priced at... Not trying to sound like a hater, but I would HAVE to mod the shit out this car if I'm driving it and I'm a millionaire...
It's PERFECT for boost now. This car would be SLEEPER as fuck. I'd even leave appearance about the same (wheels are OK and probably super lightweight)... I'd add a nice window tint and visors... I'd add some VIP stuff in the interior just cuz I love it... I actually find that car to be more interesting then that 2016 ILX... I really like sleeper cars tho...

Nope. You are still replying in the wrong section on someone elses topic. That is called thread jacking.
Wow wow wow. The point of the 5 post thing completely went over your head. And you posted them in the wrong section. Just wait until you post in the rambling section.
I do find it funny once you got your 5 posts in the wrong section and became a full member you THEN go to the correct section. What a great way to introduce yourself.

That ILX is very nice looking. I wish there was a Type S version that looked like that.

Galpin couldnt figure out how to make a quad tip look nice so they only did the dual tips we see in the teaser. The driver side has a big red super rare #JDMz fog light.

LOL... ok... that's kind of lame.
Would have been gangster if they could do it on both sides.

The one pic I can find of it. Funny no one else is getting this in the pics...
GAS DOES IT AGAIN!
All they had to do was route a dual exhaust to the driver side then put a red fog light in the diffuser on one side and a reverse light on the other like the JDM GTR.
Just saying.... Gas should stick to domestics. They clearly dont have a lot of JDM or import junkies working their design section.

Id really be interested in seeing if anyone from the GAS design team pitched an idea like this or if they went straight for the asymmetrical look.
Took like 5 minutes in photoshop so if no one pitched a symmetrical idea like this then Gas needs to gtf home.

WOW. Great Video man. I was wondering how far in depth they went with the restoration. On the video you made, it appears it was a true frame off restoration. The other clips I saw didn't really relate that. They didn't talk about whether the motor was even touched at all, this video does appear to show that it was also restored.
In a couple more years this car can truly be considered a classic (using that 25 year generic mark). Thanks for the shot of the wheels and brakes. Looks great. No one else took pics of that, they would just mention upgraded brakes. Wasn't feeling the wheels as much when I first saw them... But it works.
Great shot of the ILX trunk spoiler. Not feeling the nasty color but the body kit they made is an improvement. Like the wheel fitment. They keep describing it as highly modified... But there are ILX's on these forums that are WAY more modified (and in more tasteful OEM colors)...
