False Advertising? Standard features not standard...

Hi All-

I am a 4th time Acura buyer and recently picked up a 2013 ILX Hybrid on a lease. It was a bit of a rushed decision comparing the ILX vs. the CT200h but the ILX had lower monthly payments. After a few days with the car I have some of the normal gripes.

I am concerned with some potential false advertising on Acura's behalf. It is listed on the mobile version of Acura.com (http://m.acura.com/ILX/Features) under Exterior that the ILX comes standard with heated side mirrors with reverse gear tilt-down and integrated LED directional signals. These features are not listed on the website version.

As far as I know, none of the ILX's have any of these features (except the heated mirrors). Do any of you have this issue? Is there a class action claim that can be had?

Another gripe: no sunglasses holder!!! 1 cigarette lighter port that makes mounting a radar detector impossible.

Curious about what dealer you leased from and the deal you got.

Acuranews (Honda's PR website) also lists them:

Folding side mirrors with heaters, integrated turn signal indicators and driver-side rearview mirror Reverse gear tilt down function

We don't have integrated turn signal indicators or reverse gear tilt down....someone should raise this issue up before Acura reviews the website.

If we're going to make a stand, I think we all need to document document document.

Screenshots, save webpages, or however else we can record this description and capture it at this moment in time. Any suggestions? Any legal experts on AZ?

I'd be down to have my down payment returned or something as a consequence.

Rosenthal Acura in Gaithersburg. I put $5,950 down, 36,000 miles for 3 years, $250/month.

That sounds pricey. I got quoted 330 with zero down on a premium.

I got my hybrid tech from Chevy Chase Acura for $399 per month for 36 month 36k miles with only 1st payment at signing.

With your down payment you are paying about $415 per month. Pretty good deal but why put so much down?

Pretty sure the sticker on the car that lists the features/options does not mention either of those features.

It would be interesting to see the company's response but I'm pretty sure that this isn't really going anywhere except a correction on their websites. I am sure there are all types of disclosures associated with their website that protects them.

But if it goes somewhere I'm in!

^That's true. They can probably reserve the right to typographical errors and what not. That's lame. My salesperson said there would be tilt-down reverse mirrors.
