Did this rear interior shot shock anyone?

I was waiting for the ILX section to be created to start this thread. After looking at some of the initial interior front seat shots of Acura I was impressed however after seeing this pic I was horrified. It looks like wrinkly vinyl from a 95 Chevy S10. Ive seen Honda Civic leather that looks waaaay better I'm hoping we wont see this in the final product. Has anyone seen the rear seats at the autoshows and are they as bad as this pic?

It might just have been a rush covering for the unveil? Hopefully the production model doesnt have that.

It doesn't look good at all.

I don't think Acura would let their production vehicle look like that. At least I hope not.

This is from Chicago show earlier this month. The rear seat looks more production level that the earlier pics.

Im sure it will be exactly like the leather in the other acuras, taut and with a short lifespan, but nice!

It's entry luxury, not exit luxury. When you got in, the leather looked great. When you get out, you're like "WTH?!".

I remember the fits people were having with the 3G TL and the "butt-prints" in the leather. If you touched it the wrong way, it would "dent".

Acura please make sure you fix the leather before production.

Off topic: I love the black and beige color combo with black carpet. Nice looks german.

no seat back pocket on the driver's seat. very annoying and a clear sign of cheapness.

Definitely looks like poor workmanship on the stitching is all I can say, other than the wrinkling, it doesn't look worn anywhere. I would see how much someone would charge for a niptuc looks like my gmas cottage cheese

Just when I thought Acura "leather" couldn't get any worse.. It gets just a little worse, not by much, but a little.

I like the over all look of the car! Interior looks nice! If I were to get one i'd have to get the 2.4 liter.
