Car Won't Start After a Few Minutes in Accessory Mode

My 2013 ILX has always had this issue, which is to say it's happened a few times over the 4-1/2 years I've had it. I can't leave the car in accessory mode (i.e., press the START button once to turn on the radio) for more than 2 or 3 minutes without needing a jump-start. Meaning, if the radio has been on for more than 2 or 3 minutes, even though everything (dome lights, &c.) appears to still be fully powered, the car won't start; I step on the clutch and push START, I hear some clicking noises from the instrument panel and some of the lights flash, but the engine doesn't turn over and I have to jump-start it.

Every other car I've ever had, I could leave it in accessory mode for 15 or 20 minutes, sometimes longer, and it would still start.

Anyone else have this issue?

How old is your battery? If it's the original, replace it.

I put money on battery.

A couple years into the car I had it in accessory mode while I was putting my new window visors on. I only got one side done before I went to turn the car on for something and it did the exactly same thing you explains yours is. Clicking and some lights flash.

I had AAA come out and tested the battery. Showed a voltage of literally 0.1 or maybe it was 0.01

Replaced the battery and its been fine since.

I thought it might be the battery, but it's been doing this since I first got the car. It's happened maybe 4 times.

The battery is quite small. When I bought my ILX (it was on the back lot) they had to replace the original before delivery.
