adding Homelink

Recently purchased a 2018 Special Edition and love it. I would like to add Homelink from the Premium Package. The roof console module appears to have the same connectors - i.e. nothing additional on the Homelink console. Is this a simple plug-n-play or is there more to it?

I got one of These, It doesn't fit the little cut out all that well though. My understanding from researching it was that there was a separate module somewhere else in the car.

you are correct, there is another module that screws onto the console in the blank space next to the microphone. I need to pull the console to see if I can find the power pigtail up there. I'm hoping that with standardized manufacturing it's up there on all of the cars.

If you pull this off, could you write up a DIY?
I don't know why I thought the module would be somewhere in the engine bay. Might have been the pictures on ebay making them look bigger.
If your hope is correct that would be pretty sweet.

Edit:
If I had the balls, I'd switch the console in my RDX with the console in my ILX and we'd have an answer pretty quick.I just worry that I'm going to break something. If removing the roof console is a simple process, let me know and I might try it this weekend.

Preface: I'm not a fan of double posting and I'm not the best at getting my words across clearly so this may come across as excessive.
'14/ the '14 = No homelink
'13 /the '13 = Homelink
/preface

I took the roof console off on both the cars. I took a bunch of pictures but you seem to already have a good idea of what you're doing. In the '14, I wasn't able to find a pigtail for the homelink module up there. There's like a black bracket and I didn't bother to screw it off but looking around I didn't see one.

Everything below this point in this post is for archival purposes, probably not as complete as someone else's.
For people searching or curious, here are some pictures
Both Consoles Left doesn't have homelink, right does.
Roof Connections for the console with homelink
No Homelink (connected)
I don't think these are useful but whatever:
'13 (poor shot)
'13 Console lights/moonroof connected
'13 console connected

Takedown
Pop out light covers using at the slit. I used a flathead, probably going to want to use something softer. It didn't marr or anything but still.
8mm socket to remove the two bolts under the light covers.
pull down.
The '13 took a bit of force and I could swear I was going to break something.

Other stuffs:
The connections fit both consoles without modification.
I hit a homelink button just to see if there was soooome reason it'd work in the '14 (nah). Didn't light up for obvious reasons
