So the 2017 Acura is coming with a new color San Marino RED, there also changing the deck lid spoiler, and giving two options in colors in the 18inch accessorie wheels a silverish or gunmetal color. I think the color is nice Acura needs to come back with a red color like back then on the TSX or RSX

I wonder if thats a new spoiler or just the 6mt spoiler now on the 2017. Would make sense since they brough the hybrid spoiler back for the aspec and most people liked that one more.

I prefer the hybrid/old aspec though personally.

The spoiler is the old one they use to have on the 2013 they brought them back not the ones like that were on the hybrids

The Deck spoiler is not new for 2017. My 2016 with the add on A-Spec came with the larger deck spoiler from the 2013-15.

Wait. Is your ILX an aspec that came with the 13-15 spoiler? Or you added a spoiler onto the 2016 non aspec?

Mine is a 16' Premium with A spec kit. Dealership confirmed that the decklid shares the same part number as 13-15' ILX A-spec. They offered to install the 16' decklid if I wanted but I found the 15' larger and more pronounced.

I always wondered if those mirrors are mirror finish chrome, or matte like the front grille? If matte, I would consider it for my car, but I wouldn't want it to look like a Chevy pickup truck mirror. lol

The mirrors are the exact same finish as the front grill I was considering for for ILX, it's like how the Audis have those mirrors too

Wasn't the prototype TLX in this color? Acura should had thrown that prototype color right into production. That color turns heads whether you like it or hate it.

According to Acura's Website, they are a chrome finish. Unless the front grill is considered as "chrome". I don't think it would match.

Yes. I wanted bright red (not that "Crimson Garnet" maroon color) from the beginning when the car first went on sale in 2012, but it wasn't offered. FINALLY they are getting around to offering red. San Marino is not a new color for the brand, it was on the 2nd gen CL 15 years ago. Good color.

I bought those mirror covers, they are a matte chrome like the grill and it is held by double sided tape on the existing covers. Should have been a direct replacement part so it wouldn't look cheap. Plus they aren't cheap!
