2016 ILX LKAS issue after replacing Windshield

Hi Everyone,

I brought my car into a local window repair shop this morning to replace my cracked windshield.
When i went to pickup my car i was told the bracket on the new window was defective and they were not able to recalibrate the sensors.
They are going to replace the entire windshield for me but they cannot do it before 5 days as the silicone will get all over my interior.
The fun part is the sensor is flashing and beeping every second. I drive 4hours everyday and cannot listen to this beeping.....

Is there a way to disable the sensor? Maybe a fuze i can pull to turn the entire system off?

Appreciate the feedback.

Can you just turn off CMBS and LKAS? It's the two buttons on the left button bank. LKAS you simply push it and the green light will go out. For CMBS, you have to hold it down for a few seconds. I've read that this issue is common across all makes. Glass repair/replace shops need to know what they're doing when it comes to these safety aids.

I too, after just purchasing a 2016 Advance Package RDX from a local Acura dealer was told by my wife that she experienced this in the am when it was below 32 F and as such it set this sensor off. The car was purchased Acura Certified so we have a good warranty but I am concerned that this would happen so soon after buying it. I think the sensor might be suspect here as well, since they replaced the windshield on the day we took delivery because of a slight "crack" they found in the windshield. Now, I am concerned that they thought the new windshield would cure this issue.

It could be that the camera mounted to the windshield was not properly put back when the glass was replaced.
