I love it BUT is it true the the automatic dimming rear view mirror is no longer standard? According the the configurator you have to add it on ala carte.
How long before the front and rear Aero kit is put on? And are the side skirts different from previous ILX's and are the A-spec skirts different from the other skirts offered?
I wish there was a hot red offered, though I'm not a red guy at all.
Also wish there was a more-concept-like bumper available. These new bumpers remind me of a clothes iron or some '90's Pontiac front ends.

memory seat controls/buttons has a very "after market" look to it. Also, really not a fan of the rims, but I could see them growing on me. The dual screen isn't my favorite, but I'm sure I could grow to like that as well...
Really want to trade in my current ILX on a 2016 model, but the resale on the 2013 hybrids w/ tech are horrible Maybe the 2016 model creates more awareness for the 2013-2015 MYs and boosts up their resale value...

The question...How will the 8 DCT fair in the ILX? Have they got the programming sorted out?

That front shot with all the lights on looks pretty sweet. I drove a 2016 premium this week, and my first time driving any ILX or TLX, needless to say I was quite impressed. I did not experience any of the DCT issues lamented here on the TLX forums, and I had a pretty lengthy test drive (~30min) on all kinds of roads.
The power to weight ratio and nimbleness of the small size is a plus, and I was also impressed by the throttle response. In comparison, I drove an A3 2.0T a few days after, and the throttle response lag is horrendous. About 0.5~1sec delay for engine to response after pressing the gas pedal.
My only complaint about the A-spec is that the LED fog lights should be standard. My Infiniti Q50 has standard LED headlights and fogs, and all OEMs should have them match these days.

Overall, pretty nice.
I have two gripes though:
1. No exhaust pipes (I know, I know...)
2. The dual screen setup and all that empty space around the lower screen... It just looks empty. More of a base model look to it. Maybe it's just me, I dunno.

Foglight are a nice look but don't add much when you have the Jewel Eye above.

Even if the fog lights doesn't provide much benefits with LED jewel headlights, I would like to have them For looks. It makes the car looks aggressive * like a girl with low cut shirt showing her cleavage ..same goes for exhaust tips
Without them cars just look vanilla/soft in my opinion. The chrome accent strip by the rear air vent does help the lack of exhaust look on the 2016 rdx

It's possible that most if not all of the reviewers are more aggressive on the car when testing it. And from my experience with the TLX, the harsh shifting issues reported by others somewhat disappears and smooths out when you throttle more aggressively. If you're just doing normal light-footed driving, that's when you can really feel the sudden "jerk" in the transmission when it shifts into 3rd gear.

I must say that I'm impressed with 2016 ILX A Spec. I have less than a year left on my 2012 TSX tech and its paid off. I might just get slate silver or Catalina blue A Spec model . Any thoughts from anyone?
