2014 ILX Back-up Camera Replacement
I recently had troubles with my back-up camera after a complimentary rinse from an Acura oil change visit. The camera seemed to have water in it and now it's a fuzzy white when in use. A week or so later I returned to the dealership to review the camera and it turns out it's no longer good.
Since I no longer am under warranty for the 2014 model, the local dealership is charging me $1,900 CAD for parts and $100 CAD for labour. Is this the norm to replace a camera or is it absurdly high? |
:what:
I'd just start looking over my shoulder at that price.... |

Get used parts, that's a rip off for such simple part.

Shoot. You could install that yourself in 20 minutes.
