Mazda 3 2.5 6spd auto or ILX 2.4 8spd aDCT ?

Mazda 3 2.5 6spd auto or ILX 2.4 8spd aDCT ?
I’m looking to get a new car. Which do you think is quicker ? An Acura ILX 2.4 with 8-speed auto or another Mazda 3 2.5 with 6-speed auto ? In my test drive, I think the Mazda is better in 0-30. It pushes me back to my seat. Not sure if it’s my imagination.

Youll be alot happier with the ILX than mazda 3..

Youre also asking the wrong question if you wanted fast.. Get a real sports car aha

How about a Mazda3 s GT with a 2.5 liter 6-Speed Manual instead.

Not related to speed, but the Car and Driver articles gave the ILX 3 stars, while the Mazda3 got 4+ stars.
