i've looked on the main fuse box under the hood and it isn't located there....

there are also two relay boxes in the engine bay with 3 to 4 relays....could one of those be it?

if so which one? if there is a diagram or anyone has a service manual could you please post a picture of it....i've searched extensively!

I'm having same problem I think. Wipers won't shut off unless I turn car off then back on. I can press lever down to turn them on and when I let off lever they shut off. Can someone please just take a picture of where the wiper relay is and post it?

The relay is on the firewall near the brake booster.

Thanks so much for posting this picture/the location. I tried to remove/unplug the wiper relay for about a half hour and it seemed impossible. I even unbolted that rusty metal bracket (pictured) that's holding it, hoping to get better access. From feel, it seems that there's a clip to release on the relay, but neither my hand nor a screwdriver could fit back there to release it.

Is there some sort of trick to disconnecting/removing it?

No clip. The relay just lifts out. You'll need to wiggle it back and forth while pulling up.

Thanks- I must have wiggled, pulled, and twisted that thing for a solid half hour and it wouldn't budge from the lower wiring harness attached to it.

My apologies man, I was thinking of other relays in the box next to it. The wiper relay looks like it may have a locking tab on the bottom that needs to be squeezed to release it.

Did anyone figure this out? I have the same problem, wipers wouldn't turn off. After driving it for a couple hours they WILL turn off but Intermittent wiping keeps stopping for a few seconds, midway, stopping for a few seconds again, etc.

I am having the same problem. I can't seem to get the relay out to replace it.
