Got the rest of the clutch packs done tonight and got most of the gears back in place. Just need to clean old gaskets off the middle case and then wrap it all up and we'll be ready for the reinstall and testing phase, I sure hope this works haha this had been very difficult for me lol

Nah I just wanted to see how badly damaged the Friction Plates were.. There is seems to be a different degree of damage to make the gear ineffective.

prolly around 550-600, I went ahead and bought a new tq converter and also had to buy some tools to get the job done but as far as parts and such for the rebuild itself around 250-300 excluding the tq converter

Any plans to install a tranny cooler?

I have looked in to one, but haven't seen anything specific for a 2G TL.

Doesn't drive at all lol after the rebuild it still had a slight shifting problem, so I ordered a few new sensor that should have fixed the problem but of course it didn't so I got pissed, thought it was something I did in the rebuild and bought another trans to swap out and hopefully go. But again nope anybody wanna buy the car the way it sits? lol I think I'm done with tl's unless it's manual.

Well its the joys and marvels of trying to DIY a Transmission Rebuild, They are far too complicated to be tackled in the first go flawlessly...
Your TL is in nice shape dude, don´t want to be that guy but; "Should have gone with the AV6 Swap" and be done with it.

What year(s) auto AV6 go(es) with the J32a2?

I was considering getting the 06 Oddy tranny, since I plan to get the J35a3 at some point.

OP, sorry to hear about the car after all that time and effort, could always try and sell the engine/tranny and go with a 6spd swap.

2006-2007 Accord V6 3.0L 5 Speed Auto Transmission it is.
Just be 100% sure that you got either of those years as some early 06s and definitely 05s will have the wrong Torque Converter which wont fit the J32A2 flex plate
(Solution will be to obtain the correct Torque Converter from a 07-06).

I have a bunch, most of which is all OEM parts.
I think I can still find the thread on 6GA so that you can see the complete list (with pics).
Let me know.
It's already boxed and ready to ship.

Lol yeah my wife would be really mad at me for that lol but I do have some questions about the swap and hope to get some reliable feedback about. Can I use a 03-07 accord v6 5speed trans or the 6speed trans to do the swap? Like are the mounts the same etc? I know it won't have lsd but I'm not worried about that part as much as just having a running car lol

why not just do the AV6 swap instead of the manual conversion?
