So I recently got a set of the RS style D2 racing coilovers. They were pretty dirty but other than that in really good shape. While cleaning the rear coilovers I noticed that there was a small crack in one of the rear mount bushings. After looking for the part for a while I noticed that you can't find the replacement part for this bushing anywhere. After calling D2 Racing I was told that the rear lower mount bushings are made to order and that they were going to have to be shipped overseas. The dude I was talking to said that these bushings must be replaced by aftermarket D2 bushings, but I'm wondering if I could just buy an aftermarket bushing and just get it pressed into place? Thoughts? Im really trying to get these coilovers on the car by the end of the week and this delay doesn't fit my timeline.
