Accord Sport/Touring rims, 18" or 19"

Hi Azine!

I'm sure there are more than a few people here on the forum with these wheels. I wanted to see pictures of different setups with the Accord Sport 18's (more popular since they've been out since 2013) or the new 2016 Accord Sport/Touring 19's.

Please post pics and details like tire size, drop, spacers/offset, etc.

Ah, I believe I've seen that car before, I follow the guy on IG. They look really good against CBP, I wonder if anyone else has them, or better yet the 19" 5 spoke ones!

I believe all Honda Accord wheels are a +55 offset.
Honda 19" wheels:
08W19-T2F-100A 19x8, 55 offset.

The whole thing seems a bit counter-intuitive to me, I mean, Accord wheels on an Acura? Wouldn't most people want it to go the other way around?

those new 2016 wheels look good on the accords, but +55 offset is so much...

100% agree. The only time they got it right was when they copied an existing wheel.

Those NSX wheels look awfully similar to the WedsSport TC-005 wheels.

I believe the accord offset is +45, with some 15mm spacers they'd look pretty good.

I understand the counter intuitiveness idea, but I'd put acura centercaps if I ever got them. I really like the look of sport wheels, figured if I got them for a good deal they'd be fun to rock on the car for a while. The 19's look good on the accord, but not sure how they'd look on a TL.

I think they would look too big, 18s really are perfect on the TL

I used to think this as well, especially if someone is trying to keep the stock 25.5" OD. However, I have since changed my mind, and now feel it comes down to the color of the wheel, and the tire OD (sidewall height). Back when my wheels were bright silver I thought they looked like they were the perfect size, but now that they're hyper silver the shadows hide the edges, and they look too small for the car IMO. I'm now convinced that the same wheel in the same finish in a 19 would look better.

The 19" Accord wheel is dark, but has a bright edge all the way around, so it's anybody's guess if it'd look better than an 18.

Thanks man, I do too, but I take a lot of pix, and in pix the wheels now just seem small to me.

I'm hoping that'll change when I get my 275's .

Yeah, I'll have to get a skinny one, 9.5" TW (they usually run 10.1-10.5" TW). Probably a Dunlop Direzza. I'm running 8.6" TW now.

Sorry OP, no more threadjacking.

Test fitted these on it this past weekend

I believe specs are 19x8, +45. I'm not sure how much I like them yet without tires but I know I they'll need decent spacer and a moderate drop. Trying to decide if I wanna keep them and buy tires or let them go.

tires/spacers and drop would prob make them look pretty decent. To me thats a lot of playing around to just "see" lol

could always get em refinished as well though

if only ADV wheels were in the budget!!!

Personally I think the older accord sport wheels look better on the TL although i liked the 19's a lot on the accord. I'll likely put these up for sale and go a different route.

They will sell fast.

Also, the 19" Accord Sport wheels are popular to be stolen these days. I've been hearing on DA that people have been getting their Sport wheels jacked.

My car is always garaged at home. When I drive to work, I usually park in the garage that's underground. You can only access it if you work for the Department. The only time it's out in the open is at the gym, which I park next to the window or if I go to a store.

[/QUOTi have a 6mt and I got these rims with 25mm spacers with 245/40 18 and they rub just barely on hard turns. Do u think I would have to cut down the stock studs on the car to fit with 15mm spacers?
