+1 on the link from Thanh (GP) for the hood struts!

also, removing the rubber does solve the problem, but its a bandaid fix since your light is not sealed completely...yes it helps by letting the air escape and not condense and fog up in your headlights, but do put it back in after the condensation is done to see if the issue is REALLY fixed

Kind of sad-now, we're getting excited about hood struts......

yes condensation all gone! and most importantly RUST is all gone. cut the cancer out! LOL

as far as pics I still have to get my exhaust on and some CF vinyl work and then she's all set. BUT i don't have a good camera at all.. I have a cell phone and a underwater camera lol, and I feel those wont do me any good.

If its not raining here tomorrow Ill see what I can manage to do with what I have

It certainly was, but now my OCD has increased 10 fold..
Went to take it out today from the garage, and saw all these lines on the bumper and hood which looked like light scratches, turned out to be a spider web

reset the ECU...see if it comes back...do you have a code reader?

replacing the jpipe and exhaust should not trigger a CEL, btw

I know it shouldn't, thats why Im a bit concerned.. I don't have one but my buddy does, he's coming up tomorrow and we are going to clear it and see what happens. But only thing I can think of is a o2 sensor connection got slightly loosened? as we did have to bang pry and pull to get stock j pipe off, studs were fine but the nuts were just big chunks of rust lol

car had no CEL up until after the installation , so clearly something during the install has triggered it
