+1 on the link from Thanh (GP) for the hood struts!
also, removing the rubber does solve the problem, but its a bandaid fix since your light is not sealed completely...yes it helps by letting the air escape and not condense and fog up in your headlights, but do put it back in after the condensation is done to see if the issue is REALLY fixed

Agreed, my friend! It's hard to believe my Type S is 8 years old.....
Yep, my hood struts were totally blown out when I bought my car a couple years ago. It was one of the first things I fixed!
I got lucky and found a set of used ones and two years later they're still holding strong.
Your car looks incredible btw! Very nice job, looking forward to the CF!

Kind of sad-now, we're getting excited about hood struts......

as far as pics I still have to get my exhaust on and some CF vinyl work and then she's all set. BUT i don't have a good camera at all.. I have a cell phone and a underwater camera lol, and I feel those wont do me any good.
If its not raining here tomorrow Ill see what I can manage to do with what I have

It certainly was, but now my OCD has increased 10 fold..
Went to take it out today from the garage, and saw all these lines on the bumper and hood which looked like light scratches, turned out to be a spider web

reset the ECU...see if it comes back...do you have a code reader?
replacing the jpipe and exhaust should not trigger a CEL, btw

car had no CEL up until after the installation , so clearly something during the install has triggered it
