Did mine about a year ago. Need to polish them up but figured I'd show another look. Spent 67 plus 50 to weld 'em in.

Just had mine installed plus the Rv6 v3 jpipe. They look great on the car with the base ASPEC lip, IMO. I was fortunate enough to get them from ebay before the crazy price hike. Although I did see a pic of them on a poster in the exhaust shop I used for the install. Maybe they can be ordered? Thanks again to Roger555 for posting this way back when!

me either.. being a college student I'm pretty tight with a budget..
All I've been able to do is LED my interior + plate lights
and decal the front bumper "ACURA" haha.
Was hoping to get the quad tips but the price is just being "exhausted"

While I was getting the tips installed I was looking at a poster for Different Trend Exhaust, and it showed the tips. Don't know if they are a wholesale distributor or not, but you might try and call them up to see if they sell direct or service a shop near you.

I agree. I was able to get them for $119 shipped, then a few days later I read that Assured Auto hiked it to $199? Ack!
While I was getting the tips installed I was looking at a poster for Different Trend Exhaust, and it showed the tips. Don't know if they are a wholesale distributor or not, but you might try and call them up to see if they sell direct or service a shop near you.

Keep in mind that I bought the tips from Assured Auto, but I happened to see a poster in the exhaust shop for Different Trend. I don't know for sure if the tips are the same.
The tips you linked to are not the ones I have on my TL. The ones you are looking for are different for driver and passenger side applications, so when looking for an alternative vendor make sure there are two different tips available (Different Trend marks their separately like this : http://dtexhaust.com/product_info.ph...ce712be1c59222 and this: http://dtexhaust.com/product_info.ph...ce712be1c59222 ) ** DISCLAIMER ** the overall dimensions on these look right to me *except* the inlet on my Assured Auto tips are 2.25" and the ones I posted the link to are 2.50" PLUS Different Trend has not returned my emails, so buyer beware. FWIW Different Trend looks like a wholesaler so check if your exhaust shop can call and/or order from them, and investigate on your own

do people weld these tips on with the muffler on the car? is there room enough to weld the top half of the joint?
What is the diameter of the stock muffler piping and new tip? Do you need a coupler?
