So not to take away from his own thread, I'll just post the link, but this guy "appears" to have these tips with the Type-S bumper. This might give some of you an idea what you're looking at.

Just as some of us FEARED this mod is too small for the TL-S cutout space. Back to the search for the perfect quads w/out having to buy the ATLP full exhaust system.

TL-S cutout space measures to about 9.5" That leaves about 1.5" space on each side of the tips. Hope someone post some detailed shots SOOOOOOOOON.

Picked up some dual total wide is 8" wide (PERFECT), but the length is about 3 too inch long (13"). Need to see if a muffler shot can cut and weld it so that these tips aren't sticking out.

I will try to find some time to take these down to the muffler shop this week. Thing is, these tips are not angle-cut, so we'll see if the outer tip will stick out too much. Anyone have photos of straight dual/quads they can post an angle shot of?

Before going into any detail, know that the "stage" exhaust mods do NOTHING for performance. That being said, only deleting the mid muffler will give you just a little bit of growl/pur (whatever floats your boat). Combining the mid muff delete with a resonator swap will give you a little more growl... Or pur... Anything more than that (IN MY OPINION) is too loud...

Ps. there is a shit ton of threads about this. Search for stage mods or exhaust mods.

Just got mine installed today.. love them!

Oh and for those going to get them installed.. go talk to the guys IN the bay... screw the people that work at the front desk. I was quoted for welding the tips from $95-$200+... blah....

So I just went straight to the bay and asked one of the mechanics and said $50.. and BAM.. got my tips on!

I'm sorry... I must have misunderstood your comment. I'm actually looking for pics of these same tips on a base NON-Aspec bumper. I'm thinking to get the best fit, one would have to remove the plastic shrouds that surround the exhaust cutouts in the bumper. I see that there is a pic of a car in this thread that has these tips welded to some Magnaflows, but I'm not too keen on how they sit. They are too far away from the body.

Thanks for responding, tho...

So I called the recommended welder today. Told him two tips and a mid muffler delete. He told me about $200 to do the welding.

Really? Lol. Is that obnoxious? Does the exhaust needed dropped to do this? I see everyone else saying sub $100 installed all over in this thread....

:/

Move along to a different shop, more money means less time to bother with it... Hell, there are shops that will do it for a 12-pack

Go talk to the actual mechanic instead of the front of the shop.... trust me..

I installed mine a little differently than everyone else.. Instead of the tips looking parallel like this

OO OO

I have mine angled a little bit like this

oO Oo

Where the outter tips are slightly lower than the middle ones. :-)
