I cleaned up the TL today. Got tired of seeing it covered in salt. Freezing my balls off out there but eventually I did it.

Trust me, It wasn't easy. But plenty of layers and a few breaks in between the cars. After a few car washes this month, I wanted to put some wax back on the car till winter ends.

I understand, trust me. Yesterday it said 1-3 inches of snow.. yeah right. Within two hours there was already 4 inches on the ground. By the end of the night was had a total of 6-8 inches of snow. Today it's going to break 43 outside, which it already feels very warm to me outside. Tomorrow the temps fall back to 17..

I need a supercharger...
Who tuned it for you?

Comptech ACM.

I know many won't agree, but it's been two years now supercharged and I've only had the surging issue happen during the summer season. I use 100 unleaded octane mixed with 93 during that time to help. I do have supporting mods, but ultimately, everything done, was done so it can be easily be put back to stock. The power is plenty for me, pulls pretty hard during winter, spring and fall. Summer it gets sluggish.

Awesome build!! Love that you have the MT. How is the Comp-Tech SC? Was it worth the money? I am thinking that will be the way I go once I begin my 3rd gen build. How did you do the roof in black? Was it a wrap or paint?

Hey buddy! Thank you!

I love the supercharger! The whine is addicting. Now, asking about if it was worth the money plus the additional mods to support it, I would say no. After thinking about it, the best way to go, is buy a vehicle already boosted from factory. That why it's tuned and done 100% right with warranty. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to say don't do it. It's nice to be one of the few that have it and the amount of attention you get is priceless. The power gains vary based on the extras done. You do get the most amount of HP/TQ gains in by doing a supercharger vs intake, exhaust, ect. I've had the TL since 2007, and plan on keep it for a long time still. I did it so I can enjoy it and want to enjoy it. I wasn't chasing numbers with the blower.

You live once, so if you're interested in doing this make sure your TL is up to the task of going force induction. Like always maintenance over mods 1st. There's a lot of valuable threads made by some OG members about the supercharger. I would read up as much as possible before pulling the trigger. As for the roof, it's vinyl wrapped. There was a thread I made a few years back about vinyl wrapping the roof. It was a pretty popular thread. This is my 2nd wrap on the roof. The vinyl will start showing wear and need replacing at the 2 year mark. I'm almost due for another replacement and just because the vinyl has a lot of swirls.

The WORK's VS-XX are back on for the summer. Snapped some photos today before putting my car back under the car cover due to the pollen being crazy.

Ugh, it's unbearable already. I used a wax sealer on the wife's car this morning. The paint looked fantastic! It sat all day in the driveway while we were out on our road bikes. Came home to see her car green. It's terrible.

Holy shit! Blast from the past! What's up buddy?! Thank you, but you by far have one of the best TL's here. Remember years back, people on this forum gave you crap over your TL not looking right.. Now you're straight killing it. Keep up the great work!

LOL! Thanks buddy. To be honest, I only put on the works and cleaned up the car better. Today when I get some time, I'm going to clean under the hood. After the wedding I'll invest some money for new suspension which is needed.

I decided to clean up a bit under the hood and polish up some of the aluminum. I couldn't believe how quick it oxidizes and looks cloudy. After a decent buffing out, it look purttttyyy again.
