What type of motor mounts

I am needing to change my motor mounts and wanted to know if anyone has had luck with aftermarket mounts? I have about 145k miles and don’t want to spend too much money on new mounts but I also don’t want to change mounts and have too much vibration/rattle.

Automatic or manual? For the Automatic models it is open for debate as to whether some of the better aftermarket mount kits/sets (five mounts) will work as well and last as long as the OEM mounts; for the 6MT models, I was not able to find even a single company which made all six engine/transmission mounts; I ended up buying OEM.

it really depends on YOU.
How much you want to spend and if you want to go racecar...

if you really want an OEM like ride, go OEM.
perhaps you could save a little bit of money on a OEM-like aftermarket, like the ones found on www.rockauto.com

or perhaps you want to go FULL race car and pick up a harder type mount..
it all depends on you and your budget.

Rockauto has decent mounts too, for a lot less than OEM.

Agreed, however, their offerings for the 6MT cars come from a mish-mash of manufacturers; if I recall correctly no one manufacturer makes all six.

Be sure you get the mounts WITH the vacuum connection (dont remember if 1 or 2 have that). The mounts without will transfer a lot of motor vibration throughout the car.
