You can get an oem replacement cat off of ebay for a 94-97 accord or CL and install it yourself it's like 6 bolts, or take it to meineke or an exhaust shop, and pay maybe $50-100

remove you old bracket and plate. Take your plate and ziptie to the holes located in the middle of your bumper. Cut off excess ziptie and you're good to go. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes...

to install the plate locator, you have to drill holes in your bumper, to ziptie it which isn't crappy btw, the holes are already made in the opening in your bumper, look up in the center, two holes are already there...

iPod?

Could some one do an official one for hooking up your iPod to the stock stereo? I am considering doing this, but am wondering how much work and money I will have to put in. Also could I still use the controls on the steering wheel? and would it charge my iPod?

i dont think you can put your ipod into the stock radio. i think its only for head units that are ipod interface ready. if you could that would be sick.

Yeah I've searched it and found bits and pieces, but I was wondering if anyone who had done it before could give me a step by step. Either that or I'll just have to monkey around with it, and do it myself

I'm a newb and im pretty sure i can do it. You have to remove the head unit and replace the CD cord thing that plugs into the head unit with the cord from the kit. Heres the kit I ordered.

Thumbs up Coming Soon.......

COMING SOON......

well, since the references on these are geared towards other Honda/Acura vehicles, I thought I would do them specifically for the CL.

how to reset the SRS light, PICS included!

How to change a 98-99 steering wheel, PICS included!

Just did the wheel yesterday, it came from an 03 CLS, and its

And I needed to do the SRS light, so I figured it out for our cars.

Stay tuned, I'll have them written up by mid week.

Just replace the fuel filter on a 3.0 yesterday along with distributor cap, ignition rotor, pcv valve and other easy things.

Should have probably done a DIY for at least the fuel filter but its not that hard. Hardest part is reaching the screws that hold the filter mounting bracket. Anyways if anyone needs some help just let me know.

I'm not sure if there's already one (I searched, didn't find anything) but I'm sure someone's done it.

DIY on swapping an automatic tranny with a manual for 97 CL.

Thanks, it would be so much help.

I checked the noob guide for the 97 rotors and this is what I found.

"NOTE: the 97 front rotors are a hub-over-rotor design which means that you'll need to get them pressed on and off with a machine. Most places charge $200+ for this kind of job. Just FYI."

But still is there a way to do it yourself. Also, for the rear, what bolts am I supposed to unscrew? One of the ones I think i have to unscrew is a pain in the ass to reach.
