According to the 2006 Chicago Auto Schedule shown here Lexus will have a "World introduction" on Feb. 8th at 9:15 AM. Since we know the LS will have been introduced by then (Detroit Auto Show), could this be the next generation Lexus ES?

If the new ES looks is based on the camry, but touched up to fit the lexus line, i think they'll have a serious winner. The 07 Camry looks terrific for a family sedan (with the exception of the nose) =D

Its a completly new model now, its not just a refresh of the current body style (that already was done with the es330) just look at the pics of the new camry and you will get a good feel for what it will look like

But I still don't expect anything groundbreaking in terms of style.

My first car was a 1997 ES300. While i have since then converted to the religion of RWD, I have to admit the ES was a great car. The leather was soft, the environment was posh, and the ride waas lux but not too floaty. I am looking forward to see the new ES, and see if it would stand up to the competition.

Fun to drive, luxurious and not too soft

^^ No, the new one should also be a boring ass soft riding car too. You don't want it to compete with the IS and GS. There is a market for cars like the ES as sales have shown.
