i have a 97 acura cl with the 99 f23 2.3 motor, vtec. everytime i'm driving for at least 30mins my temp gauge reaches it middle way point where my fans kick on, (normal) but once that happens my MPH needle goes crazy. it jumps all over the place from 20, 60, 100, 80, 120 etc.. and im not even going that fast maybe like 40mph, here is the problem when that happens my trainmission acts up. if i was at a red light, and turn green and i give it gas it jumps allover and throws the trainmission off, my gears jump to 3,4,2, 4 and im only reaching 10mph!! it jerks the car and you can feel it trying to accelated but has a hard time going. i had this problem before and someone said it maybe the speed sensor on the trainmission. i had them both changed out and still doing the same thing... i know these cars have a history with the trainmission. anyone help me please??

1) transmission, not train mission
2) you'll probably have Better luck posting in the 1St gen forum
3) I had issues with the Speedo freaking out like that on my old car, changed the speed sensor and nothing happened. Then I changed the cluster and it fixed all my issues.
