Optimum suspension setup from the ground up.
There's not a vast array of parts as for other models/series. But this is just to get an idea of which parts available are the best and to know which to stay away from. Prices, quality and other factors may vary but through your experience list which sway bar kit, camber kit, tire, coilover et cetera to suit your needs.

I've been extremely happy w/ my tein coilovers. I have the tein basics and it ran me $670 brand new. Camber kits from SPC were needed @ $150 for front, and $150 for rear. No sways or struts.
In any case, I can't be happier w/ the tein basics. I don't track my car, nor do I drive very aggresively/take corners quickly; for my needs, I couldn't be happier. The ride is still smooth, even when slammed down, but @ the same time, the car is alot lower to the ground and you can feel the help of having a lower center of gravity on the car's handling.
Do not go cheap on camber kits. I know someone who did, and one of their rear control arms snapped. Ingalls or SPC. When it comes to suspension; it's 100% needed to go w/ a trusted name. No exceptions.

i can't really comment since mine came with the CT springs already on. so i don't have a basis for comparison to stock ride/handling. the CT drop is perfect. about 2" up front and 1.5" out back. the same goes for the tires(already installed). update on those coming soon though. i can say my current setup feels pretty good. i would say it feels stiff enough and grips well enough for a heavy FWD car. soon enough i'll have additions to the suspension...

my old setup:
tein super street coilovers
cusco front strut bar
comptech f/r sways
my new setup
ksport pro kontrol coilovers with 11kg/7kg springs
cusco front strut bar
generic rear lower tie bar
eibach f/r sways
entire car corner weight balanced
2nd setup > first setup by so much. i'll never stop saying this...the teins for our cars are just way too soft since they were originally built for the accord. if you really want the teins do yourself a favor and upgrade the stock springs (7kg/4kg) to 9kg/6kg at the very least.
BTW: the pillowball mounts on the new ss-p may help a little but the springs on that setup are still way too soft imo....

ebay ftw
edit: i just thought of something. If you're going with the teins do not get the spc front camber kit. get the ingalls full control arm replacement that 2nd_time_cls posted above.

My setup:
1. 19"x8" Rota Blades with 225/35/19 Cooper Zeon 2XS tires (don't buy those)
2. D2 RS coilovers. I believe they're on par with the Tein Flex's, minus the EDFC.
3. Awesome JDM driving skillz.
Impressions:
1) Wheels are a little heavy, but look completely bad-ass.
1.5) Tires fucking suck. Do not buy these tires. I wasted my money.
2) What's to hate about them? They ride extremely smooth, even when stiff. When they're stiff, they'll bite right into the turn with out hesitation. Corners very flat. No body roll. Will go as low as you want, and still hold true. Not really any funny noises. I think my sway bar didn't reseat itself correctly, so that thunks.

My setup:
1. H&R Sports with Bilstein Sports
2. RJ Servos 18" 235/40 Sumitomo HTR-ZII
3. Neuspeed STB
4. Eibach F/R Sway
Impressions:
1,3,4. The suspension is a DREAM, rides like stock but handles great. Not comparable to coilovers, but definitely not overkill Great for day-to-day driving and a typical twisty driving on the weekend.
2. Tires are bad ass. Definitely great grip and awesome wet weather performance. A little below the SO3 Poles. Needs about a mile or two to warm up though. These tires cold can lead you to some trouble. Tread life sucks, but what can you expect from a 200 AA A tire?

I have Neuspeed swaybars and Tein SS coilovers.
If i had the money then and had the money now i would go with the Zeal B6 coilovers. They are all over the Teins but people are unwilling to spend as much as they cost. I will make that switch sometime this year. Sway bars, go with comptech or Neuspeed and either a replacement front strut bar or neuspeed one that coincides with the oem one. just my

Last time I checked Endless/Zeal makes 3 types of coilovers for our cars:
Function XS - basic coilover
Function B6 (w/wo Swift spring) -dual height adjustment
Function Zi -comfort
i think all come with 6 way dampening adjustment and pillow upper mounts. They also have various spring rates in case you want a custom spring rate setup on your coilovers.
I want the B6 *drool*
btw...anyone know wtf the optional SWIFT spring is?

1. Apexi WS Coilovers
2. SPC Camber Kit - Front & Rear
3. 18" Racing Hart C2 3 piece (225/40/18 Falken Azenis ST115) +50 offset
4. S2000 Leather Shiftknob
5. Comptech Headers
1. The suspension rides nice, everyone that rides in my car just doesn't believe how low I am and how good it rides. I recommend driving low.
2. Paid $200 for the camber kit, couldn't complain more about it, does what it has to do. However, when the car bottoms out, the SPC fronts are known to hit the frame. Tein's seem to bottom out more then these Apexi do though. However, I would recommend the Ingalls full control arm for the fronts.
3. Racing Hart C2 3 piece wheels, my favorite wheel of all time. (Did I mention they were for sale?). The offset is perfect, I never rub with this wheel. The Falken Azenis ST115 are the all season ZRated 360 tread rating. They ride great. They aren't loud or noisy at all. I noticed it has a stiffer sidewall then the ZE512's. I would definitely recommend these tires.
4. S2000 shiftknob, put it on cause its a weighted shift knob. Feels a lot better then the stock one.
5. Self-explanatory

Rides great, smooth, tight, and not too harsh. Handles... a hell of a lot better. This car will never have amazing handling, but it handles good enough for me. I'm not big on the twisties anyway, but it takes turns nice.
If i had to do it again, i wouldn't change anything except I would get the ingalls camber kit, because I am dropped so low the SPC occasionally hits. not a big deal, more annoying than anything.

i duno, when i think tight handling for cars that were priced close to the CL, i think RX8 and S2000. but like someone said, for a luxury car it does handle quite well. i've done a few tricks to get the weight distributon to even out a bit ;]
as for the spc/ingalls. i'm running the SPC now dropped real low, and it's fine, but occasionally it bottoms out. the ingalls is lower profile so this won't happen, i believe their priced close to each other.

This post is great...however, I'd like to hear more about the cost of each and where to purchase the products listed for the best prices, namely the Ingalls low profile front control arms, balljoint, and rear smartarms. Thanks

I would recommend the CT TL Sway. Leave the front bar but replace bushings with Polyurethane. Half the price of buying sets of bars and will give similiar gains. Understeer should be nearly gone, but you won't gain oversteer by making the front too beefy. This is my opion tho.

I was wondering what my best choice would be for my situation. I'm going to be putting alot of miles on my car(to school from MI to VA 700-800mi per way), and I will most likely be takin around 200lbs of extra crap in the trunk on the way there and back. I want to get 18's and the size I was given by my tire guy was 225/40/18 on 18 by 7.5" rims. I'm Looking at H&R OE sport or just Sport. I know the Sport has a larger drop but do you think it would cause problems with the extra weight for road trips? Please help!!! (and yes i've used the search several times.)

i recently installed the Illuminas. after driving around a bit, i found that i like the feel of having all corners set at 4 clicks. i was able to go on all the turns i know pretty well and easily match the speed where before i would feel uneasy without that sensation. despite the setting being on the stiff side, it feels comfortable enough. of course not comparing this to the stock ride. but after riding in both, i'm sure most everyone would prefer the former. i definitely recommend these. if you're in SD and need a great shop for a low price, hit me up or check for Tipton Honda Racing.

Why does everyone get tein ss', should basics be enough for the use of our car? Based on the tein site description, they make the ss to be coilovers for 'racing' and really pushing the car to the max limits. Unless I am going to a road course shouldn't basics be enough?
