Anyway everyone needs to calm down let the OP do what he want's when he gets done and he doesn't like it then it will be on him. It's not my style, but it might be his.

Also OP you have to ignore the comments sometimes, I honestly don't think anyone is hating, they are just stating how they don't like it and coming off harsh about it. Everyone gets that, everyones style is different. Some like rice, some like hella flush, some like 4x4, some like hella slammed. Just take the comments in and finish your ride and then show it off, you never know it may change the way people feel.

Also OP, do you know EXACTLY how the car fell off I'm still curious on that part.

Fine. They lifted the car on 4 arms with one being not quite in the right position so as it was raised instead of lowering it and changing the position they put a jackstand under the middle of it and moved the 4th arm, removing the 4th arm caused the center of gravity to change and she fell.

wow, shifting a lift arm while lifted, that is a new kind of stupid I haven't heard of before.

The frame looks twisted.
Keep an eye on the glass tranny.
Im not a fan of the hood or the pointless fender vents.

But its your car, do what you want to do. Im interested to see it completed, but as of now Im leaning towards not liking it.

Interesting mix of mods. Curious to see the finished product. Any other plans for it? And...if I may ask...how much was "a steal"?

It's been a while and with the holidays and all, progress has been slowed a bit. But we got her painted!

Before the Clear coat.

After the clear went on.

and so the re-assembly begins.

Hopefully progress will be made shortly and I can get better pics.

lol...i dunno what to say about this one...its kind of coming together but really will hold my opinion until the finished product. What actual work have YOU done on the car...just want to give you a pat on the back for it...paint idea is interesting...

and like flipster said dont get too angry about the harsh comments...they come with the territory...remember you did ask for people to comment...take the good with the bad...

What are you going to do to break the paint ?
Pin stripe roll -single/double,by hand,what.

White looks good,blue looks good,two tone I'm 50/50 on.
Fenders are still retarded.

Im not going to break the paint, it's such a clean line that it doesnt need to be, the blue and white go perfectly with each other. And I have done a lot of the body work myself. Granted im no pro, but for the more tricky situations help was called in. I love the fenders and the fade we put in so what ever.
Went to the shop today and got more progress.

Once it's completed I will break out the good ol'e Nikon and take some quality pics.
Only minor mods left till shes on the road.

You should've molded in some flares with that kit.
Wish you never opened the hood,
let me guess you carried the 2 tone vibe under the hood.
All the fab work on the hood witch is good work just to paint pannel outerside only.
Make's the time put in worthless.

Is this going to be a flip car or a keeper ?

X to the Z Will you please Pimp my ride.

^^^ for you to pull off a 2 tone color scheme, you might wanna be slammed + have some rims.....

am guessing any white rims or some chrome rims will go pretty well....

It does seem like something someone who previously owned a monte carlo or a grand am would do if given a cl.

19" Wheels and a 1.5-2" drop can save the car. The grille should be more subtle, maybe the same color as the hood.

so much hate in this thread. Looks like a ton of work went into the car itself, and sounds like you love your car. Isn't that all that matters?

First of all, I just want to say this. That is MY Monte in the pictures here. I'll be honest, I posted these exact pictures on a Monte Carlo forum and there has not been ONE negative response towards both of these cars. I am disgusted by all these negative comments towards someone that has put so much work into their car to make it their own. Like I said in my post on the first page, not everyone may like it. I know that. It may not be everyones style. So what? No need to be so freakin' negative towards General_Enemy here.
