check out the comptech directions for the s/c install...it shows you what and where to trim off the cover to allow it to fit back on.

damn I love this thread SO many hard earned engine bays. Hats off to all of you Aziners! we all got a heck of a lot of character under the Hood.

I wonder how many man hrs it took?? lol

that nitrous and turbo one musta taken FOREVER

he's even got Comptech Headers that he obviously cut and made into a turbo manifold... EXPENSIVE but oh so sexy.

Props everyone

it should fit no problem, but i think the problem is they want $650 for those plenums (unless of course you found them alot cheaper), so not too many of them around

That and running the larger plenums is pointless on a FI car. Its more area to fill with air, which in turn leads to lag.

Yup, even with my motor on its last leg it still produced decent gains through the whole RPM band.

but about the paint i think they might be using duplicolor matched paint which i know geneally is available at autozone unless of course they got a bodyshop to paint it which would then be real auto paint,
but just remember how it turns out, is all about how well you prep it before hand

I didn't trim per the Comptech instructions. I took my time and measured to minimize the amount that I trimmed. I ended up keeping a majority of the plastic around the oil filler hole.

It needs a good port and polish, and a nice mirror shine on the outside, then I'll be happy with it.

Thanks fellas
