1- lol again not a radio. If you google alpine pxah701 you'll notice that it comes with a control unit that looks like a radio. That piece gives me all my volume controls and tuning capabilities.

2- Ipad -> cambridge ipad dock (ID100) -> Alpine processor via optical cable (pxah701) -> JL amps via RCA (Slash amps yo!) -> beautiful sound in my ears

NO MORE WHEEL GAP!!!

I love how it looks but its wayyy to low so I'll be raising it on monday to the point of no gap without tucking.

After I get the exhaust on rims will be next, I know I need them.

how's your camber! personally i'm not a fan of tucking on this car. I played with my ride height for a week before i was satisfied. Post more pics when you're done.

Camber needs a lot of work haha.
I was in a car show today in town and just put them on last night and didn't have the time to do any adjustments before today.
I didn't think I was a fan of the wheel tuck either but I kinda like it after seeing it on my car. I'll be raising it monday anyways just because the roads here don't really allow me to be that low

hey bro, i was the one who sold the coils to you.. your car is looking amazing with that drop. you won't need to roll your fenders if you're going to be slammed on stock wheels, there's ALOTTT of clearance (plus the fenders on our cars are kinda rolled already).

for me, i only had to slightly pull my front fenders out a bit and cut the fender liners (i didn't want to remove the fender liners cause the car would get more dirtier and water would get everywhere in the rain). the rears are fine, you won't need to do any modifications to them. if you're getting rims, scratch what i said haha, you'll definitely need a roll and cut tabs in the rear. good luck bro!

Please aim your headlights. You've gotta be blinding people in front of you with that much weight in the back.

Ya man thanks again! I raised it up a bit today because I was having to hard of a time driving anywhere. Other wise I'm super happy about it!

Any luck selling the rest of your stuff?

Head lights are aimed lower than most because the HID's are killer for other drivers and all I do is city driving so I don't need a lot of distance for my lights anyways. Thanks anyways

I put them on last year before winter because the tires were cheaper. I'm still a student so a consistent flow of cash in my life isn't always available

Slammed!

Looks good but I don't blame you for wanting to raise it back up. I would lower it to the point where the fender sits on top of the tire. No wheel gap but not tucking tire either.

So what's next?

I raised it up earlier this week and that is pretty much where she sits now.

Next purchase is tires and rims along with all the fun suspension stuff to make sure it works right.

And also I found out my cat is falling apart on the inside so I'm going to pick up the p2r test pipe with new o2 sensor and put all that in with the catback I have sitting in my room.

Update!

Last night at work I had a conversation with a guy about iPad's in vehicles and he was telling me how he bought a OBDII to "iThings" cord but he wasn't very happy with how he had his ipad mounted so he was getting rid of it. One good deal for him later and I have myself a brand new cord!! Bought the app today ($50 ...) and its pretty sick, I still have some more info to enter and play around with it a bit more to figure it out but so far it tells me info like timing, fuel efficency, MAP, MAF and a bunch of others as well. I'm working on getting stuff like A/F, voltage and the more useful ones for me.
I'm going to take some screen shots later today and I'll post them up.

I still need to fix those pictures...

Annyways, I bought a bunch of stuff yesterday for the CL
inner and outer tie rods (ingalls)
adjustable ball joints (ingalls)
Adjustable smart arm (ingalls)
high flow cat (magnaflow)
p2r throttle body adapter

When I get the cat in I'll put it on with the rest of my cat back I have collecting dust. My honda guy has ordered the 4th gen TL intake manifold and cover for me so I'll have that stuff by about mid month and hopefully have time to get it installed soon after.

I don't think you can control a separate DVD player or something but you can run all your movies and shit right off the ipad. I'm currently working on figuring out a way to do a video bypass for it because everytime I play a video it says hooked up to tv but I think it's setting on the dock I'm using. I'm being kinda lazy about it though because I dont watch to many videos well driving, it would be more for when I take it to shows and such.

I agree....I was thinking of the following:

option 1: have the ipad control the DVD and put 2 headrest monitors where you can mirror what the ipad plays

option 2: have the headrest monitors and DVD as a separate unit and ipad is stand alone

option 3: play everything thro ipad (no DVD) and just mirror everything in the rear monitors....

option 3 is the easiest....and i want my ipad on a type of mount which i can take out if and when i want....now this is killing me.....

If you want the rear headrest monitors option 2 would probably be the easiest, I know that rosen makes a unit that has a built in dvd player so you can run both units off 1 dvd or have both units playing different movies at once. I just asked my guy about getting video out from the ipad and it can be done but its a giant pain in the ass to get it working properly, basically what he said is that you can get the video to play on the rear screens but the ipad won't mirror it.
And definitely make it so you can remove it, I have mine where it just slides out the top but there is a ton of ways to do it by either having it slide in and out or be on a motor.
some examples:

with the new OS you can mirror your ipad to any monitor....and I think you can attach a connector to the ipad which has an HDMI output and you can connect that to the headrest monitors...so the option 3 is off the hook....but NO DVD....

i think i need to figure out if I need DVD or not....and go with option 2 or 3 respectively....

No preamp, thats the only difficult part about running the ipad is that you have to run amps in order to get sound

updates are as follows: I got in a fender bender last night not my fault, but the damage is minimal just paint from front fender to rear on the passenger side.

Other than that there is nothing new, unfortunately I'm a broke student so I kinda hit a plateau with my car for the moment until more money starts to flow in. Also I think the voice coil on my passenger side mid woofer is separating but they are still in warranty so I'll send them out to get fixed.

DLintheCL - active crossovers and the subs are ADS A12S version 1. don't bother looking them up on the web because they are damn near impossible to find, which is cool but gay at the same time. Think of them as an equivalent to JL W3's with quicker response but less bass. and those are sick speakers bt dubbs!

Umm let me think of what else is new... I still haven't had the time to get the 4th gen TL intake manifold on without having leaking issues but I have a lot of ideas to get it to work for the next time I give it a shot. OH I did add on the VSMC250 (viper smart start with GPS tracking) this is a super cool unit! I can tell where my vehicle is at all times, how fast its going and in what direction, I can also make it so I can get an alert on my phone if it goes over a certain speed or outside of a certain boundary in case I lend my car out to my bro. definitely a cool toy. Other than that I am just waiting for spring to do some maintenance engine wise and stereo wise. But ya its been a slow past 8 months for me, if you guys have any questions about it though feel free to ask I still love talking about it!
