Its the same as long as you plan on painting it.

The stock 01-02 bumpers have unpainted grilles.

I was thinkin its a good way to cover up the bumper hole till i find a bumper. Idk if it would look good though

yeah its a good way to cover it up for the time being if it was winter....i wouldve been like...go for it....

but u dont wanna ride around town with a leather condom on the nose of ur car....(i know its a bra but condom sounded nicer )

put a little black 3m scotch tape which will cover it temp and look for a deal on a bumper....

Going to a body shop to get an estimate for the bumper tomorrow. In the meantime someone find me a black bumper!!!

the amount of pearl used to paint a bumper is very little and doesnt cost much.

Ill see how the repair goes. My brother has done it on his past cars and it always came out good. If it doesnt look good or doesnt hold up, ill just buy a bumper and have it painted.

The proper way to get the "imprints" off would be to get an orbital buffer and buff the whole backside of the trunk.


This is your paint/clearcoat. The surface of your clearcoat is "dug-out" from the emblems. A buffer will shave the surface of the clearcoat evenly, so that the imprints of the emblems will be gone:

What do you guys thinkin of wrapping my hood in di noc carbon fiber? I have a few deep scratches on there that i dont like. Do you guys think its worth it to repaint or the carbon fiber?
