I had it done by the dealer. One tech was working on them by himself and it took him 5-6 hours.

I already got Simon's input on this, but I would like more than one, my car sits about 1/4 of an inch higher. Do you guys think it will eventually settle in and go a bit lower again?

I'm actually going to an Acura meet today, so everyone will see some new pics

I prefer not to say how much I payed to get them installed, only because they bit me on the ass for labor

It will settle, but depending on the spring rates it may not settle 1/4".

And Im sure the dealer got you. 5-6 hours to do a 2.5 hour job would probably be in the $500 range if they charged you normal hourly rates.

How long in a ballpark range could it take to settle in?

I did my suspension in 45 min per wheel maybe less. With air compressor air gun and spring puller(sp?) you could have your headers for that.

Whatever, I didn't want to risk doing it myself, plus the shop that did my springs messed up and the dealership was the only place that could fix their mistakes. So at this point, I just wanted to get the struts done right the first time. I'll hopefully be able to get my headers after the upcoming holidays, and my Icebox is on back order from Comptech, so it might not get here for a couple more weeks.

A couple of weeks, but you need to drive it during that time

I usually do the front suspension in an hour, and each rear takes about 45 minutes. The longest part for me is getting the car on jack stands and pulling the rear seats.

That was funny

Also, my car needed an alignment anyway. Whatever, I don't regret it. I'm just going to keep moving foward with this car

No, I bought it from Excelerate because it was $20 cheaper. He sent me an email telling me that CT said it was on backorder.

Did you put on new springs also or new struts with stock springs? The springs are what settle in so if they are old ones they wont settle more really just need to drive back and forth a few times to settle. Are the struts adjustable, I know when i had my koni's they had 5 or 6 different height settings to pick when installing them.

I already had Eibach Springs installed on there from a year ago, but I just got the Eibach Shocks installed a couple of days ago to go along with the springs. I think the shocks will settle in as well, because my oem shocks made the car sit a little bit lower.

The struts themselves do nothing to hold the car up. Theyre only there to control the movement over rough pavement. The springs do most of the work. It may take alittle while for them to settle in. But since the arent new they wont settle as much as you'd think.

Well the front of my car seemed to look a little higher in the front after replacing the oem shocks with Eibach shocks. Maybe I'm just going crazy

Wow I loved it when I added that header when I had my CL-S6. The feel of adding 30 more hp is amazing bro. I never had crank pulley but did the other pulleys but im sure the super torque now already will be even deadlier after . Give us a review after you install.

Do you have subs or anything in the back? My H&R on konis didnt look like this on my 6spd. One question that could do this is did you buy CL auto Springs? Being that the 6spd is 80lbs lighter makes a differnce. Here was min when i had it bak in 03.
