Hello from Kansas

Whats going on? I've lurked here for a while but haven't posted pictures yet because of the terrible wheels that came on the car. Well I just bought TL wheels so now I can share pics without the embarrassment. Its an 03 CL-s 6mt:

First thing I did was shave the emblems off. Currently I'm working on removing the shitty tint job the PO did. Lots of little things to take care of still. It has the oh so cool srs light I need to fix too.

These are the horrid wheels I ripped off. I think I'm going to burn them:

I picked this car up as a daily driver so I probably won't be going too crazy with it but new suspension is first on my list. I'm coming from the mazda scene so slam is already in my vocabulary. This is my weekend car:

Nice CLS6! I've seen that one for sale on Craigslist and was hoping that someone would buy it and change out those damn wheels...

Glad to see that your making it look clean again!

the car has more miles than I want but its ok. Its at 120000. I would keep the tint but it is bubbled and chipping. Looks like ass. I'm slowly removing it.

What sucks is there isn't an Acura dealership in my town. The closest one is an hour away. I figure I have till 150000 miles so I'm just stalling....

Well we all got the day off from work today so I was able to drive down to the acura dealership to get my srs problem fixed per service bulletin. Turns out the codes, 15-1,15-2,15-3 didn't appear, but they fixed it for free anyway. They replaced the drivers side seat belts. Said that those had a lifetime warranty. Pretty happy about that.
