CarLa's progress - Eneffex's 03 AM CL-S

still at the dealer back in 09:

with my old CBR600RR:

new A-Specs:

35% suntek carbon tint all around and 6" strip:

8000K HID:

goodies:

springs/dampers in:

fsb:

if you wonder if you should get SS lines, just get them...rubber expands, SS not so much

frozen endlinks? cut em!:

3gd rotors with the coating still on:

badges before, note: the a-hole that badged the "3.2CL" used super glue, the other badges were normal adhesive

after, also replaced red 3rd brake like with clear:

I think I did a pretty good job removing the super glue, 1500,3000 grit, high cut compound, low cut, polish, wax

obligatory artsy shot:

Thankyou for removing the gold emblems. Did you destroy them after they came off?

What lug nuts are you using on those wheels? They look to be tuner nuts, and the seat is most likely conical. All OEM wheels need an acorn seat lug nut, unless of course you are running the adapters on them.

my thoughts exactly, but they do look nice on a red CL with the right wheels.

yup, I did change the front grille, mainly because someone clipped my bumper, but I got a new front grille and head lights out of it =P

Im running the same adapters when I have the winter wheels on. Saves me from having to find the OEM lugnuts.

nice, I was just going to use my OE lugs for the type-s wheels during winter. do you have a lock for your tuner lugs? I just feel safer with the OE's since I have a lock nut with them.

sorry didn't answer your original question, the lugs are forged DGR, they were a limited run of 10 sets in this bronze color (paint code mess up) also DGR offers lifetime warranty against chipping and fading, so you can just send them in and get new ones!

Im running the Kics R26 neo-chrome with locks. I love them, but I do think I shouldve gone with the R40s.

Don't you just love getting parts in the mail.

Have you considered the corsport shifter aluminum bushings? those are the best mods you can get, driving wise.

indeed, its like xmas everytime haha, I haven't looked into that mod, is it a fairly straight forward swap? and is it helpful for a 5AT?

yup she's a 5AT, I traded in a 7gen accord coupe, I always wanted an AM or NBP 2g 03 CL, so I couldn't pass it up. Although I wanted a 6MT, i've been happy with it.

I just moved to Boston area and sold my bike in PA so looking to pick one up here next year, that will probably fill the void for me again

oops, thats a 6 speed only mod.

We do have a clean bodykit for this car if interested in making the CL even more unique.

Yeah, I got an eBay badge, I saw the pic of a OE badge and it looks smaller, even still I will leave it debadged.

I would leave it debadged...

thanks, I'm just trying to do tasteful mods and keep it simple, not too many go mods sincei ts a 5AT, keeping it as luxury sport as possible like it was meant to be

if you're going to quote me, quote the whole thing and don't take it out of context.

my original statement.

"Yeah, I got an eBay badge, I saw the pic of a OE badge and it looks smaller, even still I will leave it debadged."

like I said it looks better debadged i wouldn't take this off and put on an OEM badge

And props for keeping it clean and tasteful/classy.

Me I just put mine on jack stand, bulid tha ball out of it and start sheding weight, adding crazy wheel setups, and wild out!
